charging troubles

my phone is using more power than it gets
so i tried many things..different place, usb, fast charge mode, i even tried a nokia n97 charger
but with the same problem
so i think it could be something with voltages
can anyone tell me how to set voltages to use less power
or gain more electricity ??

Edit:
its only charging probably when i use the 10cm nokia usb cable on the AC adapter

You tried replacing the battery? It could be a fault with the actually port on the device

When used normally (which means improperly) the life of the Desire HD battery is about 2 to 3 years....
Just F.Y.I...
Maybe you should try other chargers/cables. But if it charges with a cable that you have its all good, right?
