Charter Spectrum app on Firestick?

I am trying to use my firestick to cut cable cost some. And I was told that the Charter app lets me view all of my content, unfortunately on the amazon store I can download to android devices besides my fire stick. Is there a way around this..?

I used this to install a variety of apps to my Fire TV Stick.

Has anyone got this to work. Side loaded on rooted Fire TV gen 1, get error code C117 when trying to watch video. Charter boxes have been down for a day now. Watching on tablets is only option right now.

Playstore app to apk converter & copy playstore links (Google search)
Download spectrum TV apk
Firetv/Fire TV Sticks:
Sideload
(Google hint: adb fire -pc- or app 2 fire -Android app-)
Install:
Mouse toggle apk
Spectrum tv apk

Android tv & Android Boxes:
Place apk on flash drive
Plug in
Get file manager
Navigate to USB drive install apk
Use mouse (USB) or get remote with mouse

A little annoying to use but works
Shield should be the same

But if you have the full playstore
Can someone get a root file manager
Copy the base apk for stectrum tv app for the shield
I want to test it on a firestick and see if it fixes the landscape issue when picking channels

Use ultimate rotation app to fix landscape problem.
