Very irritating. That was the "workaround" method of getting to the unread posts quickly/efficiently.

I can confirm this behavior.Clicking on the notification that someone reacted on my post gets me to the bottom of the page of that said post and not the post itself (as it should)
Thanks, i was having the same issue. I did suspect adaway but couldn't figure which setting. Such an easy fix. Good to go now.if you're using adaway go to preferences -> root based preferences
and disable local web server
There's a fix coming for this soon.Clicking on the notification that someone reacted on my post gets me to the bottom of the page of that said post and not the post itself (as it should)
Yeah, it loads faster, as it is merely a web page wrapper, but the navigating/displaying the actual content is much worse. For instance, the Watched tab:Wow! Totally opposite experience better on every item. Old XDA (either one) took 30 seconds to never to load, this one takes maybe 2 seconds. Mine looks like a well thought out app. You sure you have the right app? I'm on a 4a, not sure if that matters. Not rooted.
Indeed, it the worst thing in the new version, making it almost completely useless. Also, not warning anywhere what used to work (Labs) would be completely shut down without notice. Very bad move...Still no way to jump to the newest unread post in a thread?
Just bring xda labs back imo, or let it co exist
I just use the alert icon.Still no way to jump to the newest unread post in a thread?

Yeah the Home and Watched forums are a pain. I only use the Alerts icon. Goes directly to last, or newest messages from threads you're watching.Yeah, it loads faster, as it is merely a web page wrapper, but the navigating/displaying the actual content is much worse. For instance, the Watched tab:
1. Tap on thread
2. See an useless preview of the first page
3. Tap View, wait FIRST page of the thread to load
4. Navigate to the last page
5. Scroll to find what is the newer post
The mobile view of the site simply sucks, sorry. XDA Labs or even the old Classic had a much more pleasant (and quicker) experience IMHO.
My experience is it doesn't support landscape mode, but I also would like this.I really like it.......
Haven't read all the posts but can you make it tablet compatible so it reads in landscape please..
Great job XDA.....
Compared to the new app which is broken in many usability aspects (see many posts above) the website is still relatively "OK" to use.The new website is awful, and what's up with the ads? I posted earlier I guess they didn't like my opinion and removed it.
