Hello,

I'm going to buy a Omate from someone on the internet. I'm going to his home, and I'll have to check the watch.
Do you have any advice on what should I test in order not to come back to my home with a watch which may be broken  ?

A few months ago, I bought a Simvalley AW414 to a chinese wholesaler, and ended with a watch where the bluetooth and wifi had a very very poor signal (< 3 meters) and had a boot loop every 5 minutes. I don't want to do the same mistake. How can I check it?

Thanks you for your advices

Sidney

If the person you're buying from has wireless Internet, ask the person to connect the watch to his or her Internet to make sure it works. While connected to the Internet on the watch, make sure you could connect to the Ostore successfully. Since the Truesmart hasn't been certified for the Google Play Store, yet, the Ostore is where you could get apps and whatnot. Test out the Bluetooth by trying to pair it with a smartphone, if you have one. Use any app that requires the keyboard to make sure the functionality of the keyboard works. Make sure there is nothing wrong with the SIM card slot, so that if you want to use the watch as a phone in the future, you will be able to put in a SIM card with active service and be able to make or receive phone calls.

As far as charging goes, make sure you get the charging enclosure along with the proper cable and AC adapter.

test speaker and look at the screws at the back if ok.

GooglePlay.apk can be install without problems...(OStore is not good - no reasons to use it)

Thanks you very very much guys, I bought it and everything works fine :D :D
I just couldn't remove the screws, but I went to a jeweller's shop, and he unscrew it for me to put my 32gb µsd card

Thanks you again :victory:
