Hi,

I've got this really annoying misbehaviour on my pixel 2xl and I was wondering if anyone could help.

I bought the google usb-c earbuds and they work pretty well...
...except that to _some notifications_ and I should probably say to _google assistant notification_ a chime starts and it won't stop unless I unplugged them and reconnect them.

Example:
I listen to some music.
Calendar (to say any) notification kicks in
chime starts
I unplug the earphones
chime continues on phone as well
I plug them again
the chime is gone

the chime keeps going also with music on the background while I am listening to spotify.

I do not get any chime at all if the earbuds are not connected.
Under the settings of the earphones I could not find anything. I can toggle the _spoken notification_ but that is a chime.

The chime is the same independently on the type of app I am using when the notification/chime kicks in.

Is anyone facing something similar?

Ok, so, after re-installing the earbuds again, I paid more attention to what Google Assistant said during the setup....When you get a notification, a mushy pop sound alerts you, telling you about the app that has sent you the alert. as reported here: https://beebom.com/google-pixel-usb-c-earbuds-unlocking/
That mushy pop sound ended to be my default alarm sound.
Fine, a bit annoying from my point of view, an option with the possibility to select between a loop and one time alert could have been implemented.
