chromcast switches off and reboots byitself

chromecast has switched itself off and rebooted itself 3 times the interesting thing is that the first time I was not casting anything, chromecast was just displaying backdrops. the screen went to black the led light went to orange the TV screen stated it had no signal, the the led light went to to white and chromecast rebooted. The other 2 times I was casting some live streams with "localcast" and the sequence of thing happened the same way, and now it just happen again, not casting anything but the backdrop images from the chromecast google app. Any ideas on why is this happening ? the people in the google chromecast forum are of no real help. thanking you before hand for any hellp
