Hi guys. I've had this happen seemingly at random on two different HTC U11 phones. At first I thought it's some weird Bluetooth and Wi-Fi interference, but it just happened again tonight with Bluetooth turned off. I've had my current phone for about a month and it has only happened twice, so it's a rare occurrence. What's happening is when I'm browsing the web with Do not disturb set to alarms only, on a 5GHz Wi-Fi connection, and I have two tabs open and one of the webpages is a javascript heavy site, it will start playing this weird electrical type noise through the speakers when there is an ad. The ad plays some video and is muted. The weird noise continues to sound off occasionally (maybe every 30 seconds or so), even after the ad has finished, until I close the tab. After that everything is back to normal. Maybe this is some weird Chrome bug? I have no idea, but I figured I would report it here. It seems to only happen when I'm using Do not disturb. At first I thought my phone has a hardware problem, but it has happened on two different HTC U11 phones, and it is very rare so it's impossible to troubleshoot. My wife is telling me to return the phone since the noise freaked her out. I only have 3 days to return the phone. Do you guys think there is something wrong with the phone, or do you think it's some weird software bug? Would you return or exchange the phone if it happened to you???
