Chrome bezel deterioration

It was inevitable. It got worse than in the pics so I made the decision to remove it with a small knife and steady hand.

Unless I'm mistaken, the same bezel appears on the Gear S. Now that would look bad with a corroded bezel.

Glad you tried it. Been thinking about trying this myself. Just got the Gear 2 Neo also but the Fit is so cool I may use it occasionally too. Thanks

Yep, chromed plastic

Chrome was easy to remove, I just used a small knife.

The best way to remove the chrome bezel is using a very fine sand paper

Sand Paper and new band...

I too sanded mine off so it's all flat black. I like it alot better. My band broke so I made a new one from some paracord like cordage. Looks better than factory and way cool (I think).
