Just wondering, I have a Vi8 (obviously) single OS version, CWI501. My goal is to remove Windows and install android.

I want to enter dnx fastboot mode, I press + - vol buttons and turn the tablet on. Release the powerbutton and keep holding the vol buttons.
When I see the fastboot text I release the vol buttons. The tablet shows bootlogo again and starts windows...

How can I have it wait in dnx mode?

Hi!
There are 2 CHUWI VI8 cw1512 rev 1509 tablets with the same symptoms - when turned on, the dark screen (the backlight is lit) and the LED flashes. On the motherboard, both tablets have a video label S806. Tried various bios - does not come to life.

The motherboard of this revision is similar to the motherboard of the HI8 tablet.

Serial number - Q32G22150902944 and Q32G22150902639

Thank you in advance!

P.S. tablet not work ( blank screen, led flashes)
I reflashed the "blind" method. What program would you recommend to flash?

Unpack archive, go to extracted folder, connect your tablet to computer, run FlashME.bat
Need pc with installed adb drivers.

will this work on chuwi vi8 not ultimate version? can flash via CWM you provided in https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=62426647&postcount=267 ?

Hello, I still have this model of tablet, and I have tried blis os x86 and it works wonderfully, it looks like an updated and fast tablet, there is only one problem in my case, the touch screen shows the touches in the wrong places. does anyone have the knowledge to calibrate the touch screen?

Quick guide first, what I did, download the stable version of bliss x86 https://blissos.org/index.html#download boot from usb and in the installation look for the android partition that has the largest size and reformat to ext4 install grub..

I downloaded Bliss OS 11.13 GMS Stable (x86_64)
on https://blissos.org/index.html#download
and followed this guide to live boot:

But I get a Blue Screen of Death when trying to boot bliss os on the usb drive.

disable secure boot. Shut down the Windows 10 system from advanced reboot select the USB device, then press fast esc key, to see start menu, when booting and select boot manager and boot from usb

friend this is experimental, it works fine for me, but I am not responsible for misuse. make a backup copy. My tablet, the vi8 dual model, I do not know that it can be used in another device. I found another problem, processor frequency is too high and it drains the battery and produces heat. suggestion when i managed to install bliss os , enable power saving mode then root and manage the kernel to control the frequency of the processor as it is always at maximum performance
