Clockwork Mod Recovery help please!

I had my Aria all decked out with CM6 and the overclock, but me being curious I wanted to see if I could restore this thing back to factory, you know, just to make sure I could do it in case of a hardware failure. Well now I cannot get Clockwork to install, I did the manual root and then installed ROM manager, when I try to restore a backup of my cm6 rom it never installs and goes to the factory revocery screen. What am I doing wrong?

You replaced Clockwork with the factory recovery. You can't flash roms until you reinstall clockwork. You need to start all over again with unrevoked reflash.

Thats what is odd, I figured as much and I attempted it but for some strange reason the unrevoked reflash acts like it is working and it sits at waiting for reboot and never goes further. I have reformatted the sd card in my windows 7 machine and installed/uninstalled htc sync.



EDIT: Ok so i got home from work and decided to try uninstalling all drivers and reinstalling them again, still no go...so I put a new sd card in freshly formatted from my laptop...and it worked perfectly!!! So relieved!
