I'm currently using a custom rom i've ported for it. It's just pure Aosp 4.2.1 Rom, Unfortunately I can't made the proximity sensor work on it, and the pen. But the remote is working.
Also Remember our talk previous pages ago about the mod on WiFi antenna with copper foil? I've made that process, removing the original tiny Wi-fi Antenna and putting copper foil making a antenna of it, Also I've to cut a slot trough the back of the phone to pass the copper foil. Now I got a very very good signal, walls no matter anymore!! I'll post some pics later.

But...
My phone start to give me some problems, no front camera working anymore and the headphone jack suddenly stopped to work.

Would you share your custom ROM with us? Since I already got the original Note 3Neo, I don't give a damn about pen function on this HDC.
If your custom ROM got [screen, sound, vibration, 3G, Wifi, Camera, tethering] working, then I'd love to have your ROM. [Bluetooth, GPS, etc] are not so important. Of course, port of other ROM (AOSB, AOKP, etc) would be very appreciated. But right now, I just want to get rid of this ridiculous stock ROM full of fake-ness and junk.
So, please?

Here it is, I guess the most perceptible thing won't work in this device is the proximity sensor, is really annoying don't have this, but I can't port it because needs a new Kernel, And unfornately I can't go into this for a clone, but you will get the most clean experience of Android.

yes Marco, i do remeber our talk some pages back... i dont know man, im afraid to make the aluminium foil method on my device, sience you say you need to cut a slot into the back of the phone... i rather prefeer to have it with weak signal that cutting a slot ....

By the way, how did your front camera stop working ? did u try to test it again with the *#0*# ?

I won't really use this phone in daily life, so proximity is not really a big deal. There's also a headset I can use.

I don't have IR on my HDC, but Z-DeviceTest shows I have MTK6589.
Will your ROM works fine for me?

why you want to install another room ? root the phone, use system app remover to remove all the apps that slow down the phone and alos all the pre-installed chinesee apps, doo a factory reset, wipe cache and you have a flawless room...

tell me if you have the one with OTG TV Remote function or just the normal one... i can give you link´s to the proper ROM to flash it...

i "freeze" my gallery app using titanium back up and when i defrost it, titanium backup hanged up. so i reboot my phone and got stuck into boot screen

I don't think it will come with real 4.4 (none of the Note 4 clones out have had real 4.4 by now, if they could do it I guess they would have given all the Note 4 clones 4.4 - they just show 4.4 but will in reality just be 4.2), but let's see when you get it. And please check the RAM with Geekbench 3 when you get it, so we can know if it's faked 2GB RAM or real. And also run a CPU ID test. The rest seems to be almost the same as the normal version. (I only see that it is on pre-sale? and they show it will be available 15 Dec).

ok, let's take it easy, you have the MTK6589 SM-N900 1:1 5.7 inch Screen rigth ? not the one with OTG and TV Remote ?

if you have the MTK6589 SM-N900 , you take your back cover off and just right next to your SIM, you have a screw, if you have a little antenna just like 2mm away from that screw ?

I just found out that my phone is mt6572 and it it a fake mt6589..I flashed that ROM and phone is now OK. Thanks for trying to help a noob like me
