I've got an Evo running CM7 and of course clockwork. How do I set this as my boot animation? I'm a bit of an android noob, but I've been hacking WebOS since the original Pre so I'm capable, just confused. :) Any help would be awesome! Thanks!
On my mytouch I put it in the same folder as the bootzip and I have sound working.

When I seen this boot animation I immediately thought of the circus tune "Entrance of the Gladiators". Can anyone pair down this mp3 sample so it could be used with the boot animation?

works on G2 but no audio

I got it working on my G2 but I couldn't get the audio working, I did put it in the same folder as the bootanimation.zip file.

Is it possible to remove the initial HTC splashscreen that comes on initially?

I tried to flash the iphonefunny zip with ClockWorkMod and it didn't work. So, I extracted it, got the bootanimation.zip from inside the zip, and put it in the system/media using RootExplorer. I already had a boot sound, so what ever 1 is attached to this 1, I'm not using. Love the animation though. I'm running CM7, on a G2

It does. Thanks a bunch. I did read through the posts and saw no "taking" credit but also no giving credit, and because of that other threads where this got posted were giving it to you.

We really had no idea it was so popular. I also appreciate everyone who made the modified versions. Work plus school plus several freelance projects leaves very little time for stuff like this, so I'm glad others have the time and ability to modify it. I'll be happy to send the original ai file if anyone wants it. Just PM me.

Thanks again.

works great except no audio - nexus one 2.3.3 stock - I placed both files where I normally put the bootanimation.zip (not the first one I've tried) ... but this is indeed the first one I've tried with an .mp3 ... no go. Does it have to be in system\media\audio perhaps? where all the ringtones and notification sounds are?

random question ... stuff in data\local\tmp.... safe to delete? I have random files in there related to 1-click rooting (files named sh, gingerbreak, rageagainstthecage, etc...)

I think the audio has to be in ogg format. Can anyone convert it please?
