Is it just me or is something weird going on when searching/filtering the log (show log menu)? For a long time already I don't get any results anymore when typing some app names or part of it in the search field. Live updates I already turned off to prevent flickering. Lets say there are no logs for these apps just in case there really were not. There is however something else:

The Galaxy store app could not be found in the logs by entering "galaxy" it however can when entering "galaxy " (there is a space at the end). Right after trying this followed by a phone screen lock by timeout, after unlocking phone I tried again searching for the galaxy store but this time adding a space was not enough and I had to also type the next letter 's' so "galaxy s" in order to have the log lines for the Galaxy store to show up. (Or "game o" for Game optimizing Service. Or at least "google pl" for Google Play Services)

I'm pretty sure this wasn't always like this. I believe it used to be like when seaching with just "samsung" it would show apps like samsung keyboard, samsung editing assets and others. Now when I enter just "samsung" there are no results.

EDIT: Perhaps this is intended behavior to prevent having many apps (like e.g. the samsung apps) show up while you only want a specific app and thus are also required to type as much of the name to be unique. If so then it might be just me trying to use it differently without knowing the full name. Although getting the log lines for the 'Gallery' app while even typing its full name in the search field did not work, it does now for some reason while I was multiple times sure there were logs available. I need to keep an eye on this.

I'm pretty sure this wasn't always like this. I also don't think this is caused by latest version if even by the app. I believe it used to be like when seaching with just "samsung" it would show apps like samsung keyboard, samsung editing assets and others. Even though it probably is unrelated I still like to blame Samsung's keyboard (OS actually) for the clipboard history collection but... that is something unrelated XD since the keyboard works fine with input.
There are a few known minor problems with filtering the app list, but I am not going to put effort into fixing this.

Major problems, related to allowing and blocking connections, will be looked after, though.

Hello, can I ask what is the situation with UDP blocking and WebRTC? I assume that WebRTC uses UDP and it causes an IP address leak if Netguard is used together with Orbot. I have "Filter UDP transfers" ON in settings and I use Orbot, yet in diagnostic page ( https://browserleaks.com/ip ), I can still see that my real IP is detected. Is it somehow possible to filter/block transfers for WebRTC?

You can, but not when using the SOCKS5 proxy.

Something strange (at least for me happen)Sometimes the blocking ads stops working even though NG is working. If I disable and after that re-enable NG the blocking ads restart working. Somebody can explain what is happening? I think I have the right settings regarding battery not optimized for NG app.

I have observed something similar and logged in to post the same

in my case :
1) all settings are done as per instructions
2) AD blocking works as expected
3) When I go from a WiFi connection to Cellular connection the Ad blocking stops working.
4) When I come back to a wifi connection, the ad blocking still does not work (Netguard is running)
5) Either I have to restart the phone or restart netguard and then adblocking starts to work again

Details :
Samsung S22 Ultra , Android 12
(Just upgraded to 13, did not check this behavior out yet)

Maybe there is a routing bug in your Android version, causing DNS not being routed into the VPN anymore after a connectivity change. I have seen similar bugs, mostly in Samsung's modified Android versions.

Hello I have strange phenomenon. When checking on netguard.ne/test, I can see blocking is correct when I am on mobile network. But when I switch to wifi, I get message that blocking is not working. I have bot types of networks configured exactly same. Where could be the problem? I have LineageOS 19 (Android 12). Jan
Hi jaybee01:

Did you fix the Problem? I got the same problem, on wifi (Netgaurd.me/test failed) but on mobile data its works.

My Setup: Pixel 5, Grapheneos, Github paid version, Android 13

regards

Did you already check the troubleshooting tips in the ad blocking instructions?
