A message to all the haters and weirdos out there: You will never win!

The Netguard protection code is already extended to developers.

You would have to demoralize every one of us and that won't happen!

I changed my mind and I might again because:

"Ii would be a pleasure for me to find and kill you :)

you Bastardos"

I hope it is clear now what I need to deal with rather frequently.
🤣🤣 These noble souls have mastered the art of instigating/ triggering you. And why won't they when you publicly express how you feel.

Much of all the negative comments are a result of how you react or respond to them. Stop reacting to it (both publicly and privately) and learn to ignore them.

When you stop reacting, they'll stop bothering you.

Think of it as colorful conversations between a gathering of strangers with opposing viewpoints without all of the social media fluff.

No problem. I'll look into serious problems only, and leave answering questions to other people here.

Our conversation was not about questions related to the app, which anyway we'll try to answer as much as we can.

If you have a weakness, it is best to keep it to yourself and work on strengthening/ addressing it. It is a bad idea to expose your own weakness to others, not only in public but also in general.

People have a natural tendency to exploit weaknesses of others for their own benefits, or even just for fun, such as in this case. So avoid doing that under all circumstances.

I like to think better about other people.

Hi. Thanks for your amazing work! M66B. I've been using Netguard for a long time on lower Android versions without problem. Now I updated to AOSP Android 13 and Netguard isn't working for me. I'm still setting up my device and testing everything. I have YT and Chrome disabled on Netguard but unfortunately they are connecting to the internet. I have verified my Netguard is ON. Private DNS is OFF. I can't think of anything that leaks connection unless my system is incompatible with Netguard?

Edit. I tried resetting my phone again. I have CHROME denied internet access. At first it didn't connect to internet but once I allow it then deny again it keeps having internet connection. I found out it was able to search for anything I typed but when I click on the link it won't load. Meanwhile on YT, it loads the video while denying access. Is it a bug, a new featuree, or just not compatible with A13?

Edit. I tried downgrading to A12. And same thing happens. Is this OS bug?

Please check this FAQ:

YouTube will probably use the download manager.

I am going to stop providing support via XDA because I don't want to write in pubic anymore. If you need support, you can contact me for personal support via here:

FairEmail and NetGuard will keep being maintained and supported for the foreseeable future. I recently stopped supporting XPrivacyLua, though (see the XDA XPrivacyLua thread for details).

You can keep asking questions, and other XDA members might answer your question.

Hello. What about blocking plain-text http? Everyone uses https these days, but WhatsApp and Telegram do functionally useless outbound http connections. Other apps fall back to http, when https fails (e.g. in case of unstable connectivity), however I'd rather have the connection fail.

Thank you for this great app!
How does one block all plain http using netguard?

I am looking for an opensource FW tool that I can blacklist all apps on my kids' devices, and just whitelist the ones, like an email client, podcast player, ebook reader subscription, and it looks like NetGuard will do almost everything I am looking for.

Two questions. 1. I don's see an option to set a password for the NetGuard utility so only the password holder (parent in this case) can access the app on the given device. Is this an option I am just overlooking (I hope)? 2. There are a couple of apps I want to be able to access servers on the local subnet but not access anything outside of the gateway router (internet). There does seem to be an option under SETTINGS > NETWORK OPTIONS where there is a greyed out ALLOW LAN ACCESS option setup. Will this option allow a specified app on the device to access resources on the local LAN, like a book or media server, but still block outside access?

I realized the grey-out feature likely requires a donation to unlock it, and I am just about on-board with donating if I can just get these two questions answered. Thks.
