The just released version 0.30 allows you to enable/disable individual hooks per app.
The just released version 0.30 allows you to enable/disable individual hooks per app.
It will allow you to disable individual hooks which are causing trouble for an app without disabling all hooks of a restrictions (which is in fact a group of hooks).
(I do not know how it works the other way, but I got through this s ***** participation, so captured the mighty malware! As far as I can, I will definitely report to Google! This goes too far...! I hope that your action pays off. Interesting Gangsta are still the true ones!
Why is the real app not out on play store yet. Do you think that's fair taking money from people And not giving them the app to use or functions. Because they use **beep** they should get robbed right. Just put a warning on you're app on play store and I'm done. But you won't because they all have it you won't sell anything.
Hi, how to be refund, I have buy pro for change IMEI, I'd ect and he dosent work. Thanks
(Seemingly unable to deceive certain app, as long as check, just like other rights management software, it is straightforward to refuse, did not give a fake value as a fraud)
(14 € ... no thanks!)
Don't worry, I won't get discouraged. I quoted a few of the comments just to make clear why the pro companion app is and will stay a beta version (beta versions of an app don't have an average rating). That's the important part. Some. Don't get discouraged. You're doing a great job![]()
The pro companion app even checks if XPrivacyLua is installed and displays a message / link to the instructions if this is not the case.Yeah, well. Remember saying that there is at least some basic intelligence to be expected from users? The description of the app literally says XPL is required, yet some people still don't get it. Sometimes I wonder how such people are able to even survive when they pay that little attention
At least you still have the hope it's just their fake (and not real) value
HI Marcel! Thanks for the pro app! As usual great work and more we've hoped for. Just purchased the compete pro features package.
However, I am not sure about two issues/questions:
- I was of the impression, the purchased contacts pro feature would allow me to block specific contacts (e.g. for whatsapp). Still, the future remains "greyed out" and only shows "block all" in the drop-down. What can I do?
- As I've purchased the complete package (13,99) - will potential future features that are pro, be included?
Thanks for clarification!
cheers
- You should be able to select 'allow starred' and 'allow not starred' for contacts too
- Yes
Select either 'allow starred' or 'allow not starred' and star the contacts you want to allow/not to allow in the Android contacts app. Where the star is in the Android contacts app depends on the Android version/variant, but often it is at top right side. Thanks for your quick reply! Could you please give me a hint, how the starring of contacts works or where I can select the option (companion app or xlua)?
XPrivacyLua is completely free to use, so you can protect your privacy for free. Given the time I have put into it, this is a big gift. The pro companion app offers convenience and advanced features and is not free to use.Christ dude $15 for pro features???!!
And you even got the admins to delete the fork that enables the pro features for free. **** move.
Which community fork are you talking about? You were very vocally against the pro features despite the community feedback and only enabled it as a means to kill the community fork. So yes you released it but locked it behind a prohibitively expensive price as a way of getting back at people. For $15 it might as well not exist. But tbh I think it's more of an ego issue than a money issue. And it's obviously apparent from how you took an amazing app and neutered it because you want to police how others want to use their devices. Yes this is your personal project and you can do whatever the hell you want with it but it just seems so counter productive.
If $15 is worth the pro features and to support the XPrivacyLua project is up to you, but it is clear to me that you don't want to pay anything or almost nothing. That is fine, but then you should not have access to the pro features.A ton of apps do this. XPL is literally useless if you can't or don't want to pay $15. Your privacy ends when your inability to pay begins.
And to those preaching this as the holy grail as privacy: don't even pretend, you know some apps outright crashes when restrictions are applied.
I'm usually okay with these semi functional freemium apps since they cost a few bucks at most to unlock but $15 is too greedy out of principle alone, especially if he's making this for the, lol, "betterment of humanity". You'd think with a mission that great the not-so-optional features would be more accessible.
Watch him interpret this as wanting things for free because in his mind less money apparently equals no money. Probably sprinkled with some threats of leaving because he thinks he's rovo89 or something.
