Stop posting USELESS posts about SafetyNet or "it doesn't work", please! There's been several requests from
@topjohnwu not to do that!
This is a beta thread where the idea is that you're supposed to help test and report issues (with logs) before the release goes stable. If you can't or won't help, but still want to use the beta, do so quietly and if you feel the need to post about any issues you're having, but can't be bothered to make a proper bug report,
DO IT SOMEWHERE ELSE!
Now, if you are having issues and do want to help, any SafetyNet issues you're having might be because there are issues with Magisk Hide on your device. Check the Magisk log to see if there's anything about Magisk Hide starting or not. Try toggling Magisk Hide off and on, either in the Manager settings or in terminal:
Code:
su
magiskhide --disable
magiskhide --enable
If it turns out you have to do this (either in Manager or terminal) after every reboot, read the OP and follow the instructions for gathering logs if Magisk Hide doesn't start on boot.
On that note, reading the OP is always a good idea to see if what you're experiencing is a known issue, or if there are instructions on how to help gathering info and logs for any specific issues you're experiencing.
If there are no specific instructions given, but you still want to help with a problem you're experiencing, make sure your report contains as much details as possible and logs, lots and lots of logs. If you have issues installing, post a recovery log (in TWRP, go to Advanced - Copy log). If you're having general Magisk issues, post a Magisk log (save it in the log tab in Magisk Manager). If you're having other issues, save a logcat (
here are some instructions on that), either when your device is running and experiencing the issue or during boot with adb (
here's a good guide for that).
Edit: For some users a dirty flash may work to upgrade (from v12 or an earlier beta). But, if you experience issues after the upgrade you could try clearing data for the Magisk Manager or even uninstall Magisk completely and reinstall it. If this doesn't work, don't post another USELESS post about things not working. Provide details and logs, lots and lots of logs!
[/RANT] There... That feels better...

This post probably won't be read by any of the users it's aimed at, but at least I got to vent a little. :laugh:
