[CLOSED][DEPRECATED] CyanogenMod (CM12 / CM 12.1)

First of all thanks for this great ROM!
I've just flashed CM 12.1 to my P5110 (the Jan. 29 build), and everything seems to work fine so far. I just cannot connect the device to my PC via USB.
I have enabled developer's options and USB debugging. When I connect my tablet to my Windows 7 PC, nothing will happen. When I open settings > storage on the tablet, there is a menu in the right upper corner showing "USB-Verbindung (PC)" (USB connection (PC)). But when I tap this option, a message will pop up saying that the USB connection will be disconnected. The same will happen if the cable isn't connected at all.
Any suggestions?

Have reports from different people. Might be a windows / driver Problem.
Someone tried universal adb driver instead samsungs?

tested with latest google driver, latest samsung driver, universal adb driver. nothing works for me.
the easiest way for now is "airdroid" from playstore

I've tried Android Andi's latest SlimLP build as well. While there are a lot of things not working with this build, USB connection to my Win7 PC definitely does. Since I've tested both ROMs with the same devices, I don't think it's a hardware issue.

In the past I had problems with cheap USB cables, then I bought the original one and had solved that problem. I think the connector on the Galaxy Tab 2 side is sensitive.

I have deleted the <Include href="media_codecs_ffmpeg.xml" /> but still no luck. Cast screen feature is still not working.

media_codecs.xml is in the /etc folder

Please let me know if removing the line:

<Include href="media_codecs_ffmpeg.xml" />

Enables the "Cast screen" feature (as I can't flash the latest CM 12.1 until Andi resolves the current issues with our P5113 devices).

Hey guys! I tried the last build. I was using stock 4.0.

My P5113 is not booting. When It should show the boot animation, It restart. It's just the splash screen(when it starts) restarting forever...

As far as I remember, we had to first update to jelly bean bootloader coming from stock.

Yeah. I wiped dalvic, cache, system, and data. Then I flashed the rom and gapps.

Did a complete wipe and installed "cm-12.1-20160129-2014-UNOFFICIAL-p5100.zip". The resolution is completely broken on my p5100 and I cannot rectify it as the tablet will not allow me to browse the OS. Went back to the previous build and everything is working correctly. Performance still feels lacklustre though and the battery, although much better than previous builds by a longshot, could be slightly better (only slightly).

I haven't had the courage to go up to CM13 yet as all the teething problems of CM12 are only now becoming less of an issue.

Please take a dmesg from any rom you are on (taken directly after boot) so i can see if There's something else wrong to prevent issues on upcoming builds.
P5113 won't boot latest build, still looking into the cause.

@androidandi I am not sure what a dmesg is. I have also noticed that video streaming over a certain amount of time causes soft reboots.

But this is a development thread... People posting here should know how to get a logcat and dmesg... Lol... For everything else we have a general section.
It's easy, won't take much time for you on how to find out how to use adb to get proper logs.
