Thx to @vrmuhr and @mahive i think i found the source of problem for bt audio issues. Will build again and upload sometimes tomorrow.

Oh thank you @Android-Andi, I OC'd to 1350 mhz and didn't faced any issues with the new omni-5.1.1-20151201-1112-p5100 in terms of performance, no random reboots. couldn't test the bt audio, don't know about that, cause I don't use it. its better in performance than Cm12.1 which gets rebooted with over usage of RAM.

But still even in this build I couldn't record audio, even voice dialler didn't recognize my speech, while I had no issues like this in CM 12.1, neither I had these issues in previous omni 5.1 build (early this year's build). please do something about this.

Any ideas, how make BT Mouse work? USB-otg keyboard, mouse - works perfectly, but my bt laser mouse - with no luck (paired & HID-compatible, but doesn't work)...

I know how you like to surprise us/keep us on our toes, however, I have to ask you about the new build... uploaded today 20160122 with file/build date 20151220?
I put my confusion to one side and flashed it anyway... Cast screen works and OC appears to be enabled (max speed = 1350 MHz)!

Sure @Android-Andi does always keep us on our toes, but can you please confirm if the audio recording/mic works? I had been facing this problem since last few builds, and I can't have voice chat with my brothers using Omni . it has been my personal favorite since it never bothered me much in terms of performance. Every time omni gets an update. it makes me want to flash my tab again. I hope this time, it's got fixed. keeping fingers crossed and backing up my data before I try :silly::good:

I don't see a voice/recorder app on my P5113 (WiFi only) but if you can tell me which app you are using, I will certainly try to test it for you.

Any app, the best would be record a video, and check if there's audio on it. Anything where you can get to hear your voice. Voice message or anything BUT without headphones(cause with headphone's mic it used to work)
My tab mic works fine when on other roms but my problem on omni is/was that no matter which app I use, Skype, viber, tango, hangouts, camcorder, I couldn't make my voice reach anywhere through the tab.

I was looking so hard for the old voice/recorder app (that used to come with KitKat?) that I completely forgot about the camera.
So, I used the Camera app (included in the ROM) to record a short video and I can confirm that there is audio (using only the mic and speakers built into the tablet).
BTW, I flashed omni-5.1.1-20151220-2052-p5110-HOMEMADE.zip + open_gapps-arm-5.1-pico-20160122.zip + BETA-SuperSU-v2.52.zip using GT-P5110_TWRP_2.8.7.2.zip.

P5113 (espressowifi)

Hi Andi,

I just wanted to test the new espressowifi builds and can confirm that the charging issue persists ...

when the tablet is connected to AC the status bar indicates charging but no indication of charging in Settings (Battery) and the battery capacity does not increase.

I'm sure you are aware of this (and probably still working on the issue) ... I grabbed the logs (just in case they may be some use to you).

I am happy to report that my tablet is now charging!

Charging on AC is reported in Settings (Battery) when tablet is connected to AC (as well as the Battery icon on the Status bar).

Hi, can OP or anyone provide me a step by step tutorial from top to bottom on how to flash this rom? My model P5100. It's currently on stock rom and stock recovery. I've tried flashing the rom by itself, but it says 'failed to verify signature'. Can anyone provide me a complete tutorial for a newbie(links too)? Thank you very much!

all the general guides

1. get custom recovery and root. Twrp 2.8.7.2(compatible,stable) or 3.0.0.1 (latest)
Recoveries on this thread

2. Take backup from custom recovery
3, update to jb bootloader(if on stock jb already, skip but take nandroid backup) note: after updating to JB, DO NOT DOWNGRADE TO ICS roms.
4. Then flash this rom from custom recovery. (follow the OP instructions)
5. Find gapps according to your need.(thread with all the gapps)

Hi Andi, I don’t know if you’re still working on this rom. I think Omni is the best of the 5.1.1 roms.

I have experienced a little bug, more of a cosmetic bug, I think. The charging animation isn’t working properly when charging the tablet turned off (P5100). When you turn it off and plug the dc connector to charge you got a static battery logo and no indication of charging. To see the charging levels you must press the power button, and then you got that white battery animation, but with the percentage numbers blurred.
