Hi,

second time I updatet throu ota ... which worked pretty well BUT everytime it breaks the 'web viewer' functionality. So my mailclient does not show the mailcontent or the weather app is not working. I have to reflash the rom with a pc and after that it works great (again). any idea?

You can use several things, one by using a kernel manager app like fkm or smart kernel with this you can either use lower freq ( which is counter productive in games) The other would just to unstick auto brightness and set brightness level to tour liking which you can do through the game space.
The stock kernel pretty much comes with the right setting to avoid throttling and if the game is a heavy one no trick or mod will avoid the throttling if it's to much for the processor.

Hey Joey, will be receiving my Mi 11 soon and after researching best roms, Evo looks like the winner! Plus I hear you have a great reputation - so I'm looking forward to being a part of this community.

A few queries if I may:

1. Can I ask if there are navbar button customisations available, like long press back to kill, hold recents for last app etc? I'm old school and still like the buttons

2. Curious if there's the 'tap to wake to ambient screen' rather than tapping waking up the device fully?

3. Is it possible to get the Xiaomi PC Mode for MIUI working on this rom?

1. Not really. There are themes. But most customization are in gestures.
2. Yes there is.
3. I'm not sure. Haven't tried. Couldn't test as I'm back to MIUI after getting my main board replaced.

It's not even available within their current source code. I would add it in when a suitable, stable commit is available publicly and not the old one that causes issues.

Installed yesterday EvoX with clean flash on latest build and as feedback i have to say it feels butter smooth, everything working fine, battery backup very good (4,5 hours of SOT until 50% and very good idle 0.3% /h) MIUI camera working perfect.

Just asking/suggesting, if possible to add in evo somewhere in the future if not just ignore me

1. Disable google bar option
2. App grid 6x6, 7x7 etc and maybe icon&font scaler
3. QS grid customization with 3 or 4 lines
4. Double tap anywhere to close screen (not only status bar)
5. Option to remove the arrow/bar under gboard

You'll need a modded launcher for 1 & 2. 3 isn't available in the ROM as the methods in other ROMs aren't fully stable yet. 4 is available via lockscreen as well. Double tap on homescreen applies with the modded launcher. 5 is already there, use the Narrow option for Space under the keyboard feature.
