TWRP doesnt work with asg8 and camera fw. This is the reasons why your phone reboot. So flash twrp optionally if you need it and let it be on patched stock recovery if you need the camera. Maybe samsung releases the asg8 kernel sources, the we can be permanently on twrp with newest asg8 kernel. This is mostly the same process when samsung update the camera fw. But normally not every month.;)

There are some pretty good setup instructions on the TWRP thread. Fairly simple...I was even able to do it. It all boils down to only installing TWRP on a per use basis and replacing it with the patched stock recovery before rebooting

Need help with knox locked Samsung S10

Hi,

I have got a Knox Locked phone. I have factory reset the phone but knox doesn't allow me to use any feature in the phone. Now I am wondering if I can still make use of this phone using any custom ROM or MOD's etc.? As I can't download any app via the play store, I can't root the phone using any app. Could anyone please guide if I can still root the phone using my PC and flash this MOD in it? Are there any risk's with phone becoming useless if I try this? Any easy to follow instructions would be of great help.

Sorry I don't know much about android and flashing it. Please HELP!!!

The title of op said [G97x] which implies that all s10 variants are supported, ok the 5g wasnt available at the moment he releases his mod. But look under support devices:

So it seems your device is camptabile. Cause afaik all s10 variants are dual sim (=DS) devices.;)

First off, Many Thanks for the mod. My device is performing wonderfully. I just have one inquiry?

Is there a way to update Goodlock or do we have to wait for the next mod update. A very insignificant issue, just wondering if my efforts are in vain?

Just download the updated apks from apkmirror and install them. As Goodlock isn't official for us, you can't update them with Galaxy Store.

I flashed v4.0 and I got bootloop. I thought it was because the problem with ASG8 and twrp, so i flashed v3.0 and boot loop again. I had to go back to original firmware with only root and twrp.

I actually did update the apps thru the store. Edge Touch is unavailable. It's only Good Lock itself I can't update. Not a problem, just wondering if it was possible. It's only one version behind anyway

    -added debloat info with agreement checkbox
    (if you debloat apps before you have done initial setup, you'll end up with blackscreen and non booting device!)
    -added ZTO CSC to active csc selection
    -renamed CSC Changer to Active CSC Selection (You cannot change CSC with that one)
    -removed unneeded product partition files (reduces mod size from 667MB to 262MB!)
    -removed busybox copy to system (its not symlinked, so useless this way)
