Have you tried flashing again? I've flashed the old ROM like 5 times to my phone.
The problem is more that my parents are questioning the gabb app being missing, my phone is already set up with the old firmware including apps and stuff, and it would be more pain then its worth to flash again, yes I can back up but I mostly want the app as a cosmetic so I don't think its worth starting over.

Hey all, it's Niko, owner of the thread. You guys might wonder why I never replied with any information.

Basically, I got videos downloaded and my parents gave up, so we got rid of the phones.

My brother just got one again so I'm back in buisness. However this is not my current XDA account anymore so I might start a new thread. I'll be looking throughout this one.

I really appreciate everybody willing to help each other out. Have a good one

Installing the stock rom worked but now I don't have mobile service and Gabb Sent my parent a email saying that your son messed with phone
The reason that installing the stock rom isn't a good option is because the APNs are vastly different on Visible models, and since I had the Visible Blade A7 Prime there is NO way to change the APNs. I'm not sure how many times this phone has been rebranded but we'd need to find an unlocked version of this phone.

May I ask how you have got it back to normal?

I understand this thread might be a bit aged. I was looking into getting a Gabb Z2 just for hackery and stuff. I am looking for any way to hack it in general. I had a thought; couldn't one just use Magisk and use that to root the device? It would be much easier than doing it yourself, wouldn't it?
Also, couldn't one just install the GSI of whatever version of android the device is currently running?
sorry for the late reply, i have been inactive for so long. afaik there has been no way to unlock the bootloader, and there probably won't be one. I'm only on page 8 of this thread, but i haven't found anything.

we would also need a custom recovery such as the ones that you can find on lineageos. i'm not that experienced with custom roms except using them.

Hmmm ya, installing unknown apps is pretty much useless. DON'T BREAK YOUR PHONE FOR THIS! It's not worth it. I have friends who just got one and autofill is locked. I think it would be easier if we just figure out how to unlock autofill again, iqlessmemes comfirmed to me that we can still get autofill, but we have to figure it out ourselves. Not sure if any other methods are gonna work!🤷
can confirm, anything manufactured recently is updated and currently has no way of breaking through. (I am on page 9 or 10. I am not sure if there is anything further. I'm looking to make a new thread on my normal user, which i will link here.

i learned gabb does pay for full service by swapping the sim card to another phone
found an old s7 in my garage and put the gabb sim card in it and it gave the phone 4g service and kept my number and stuff so

Oooh also! I have a great idea! This might not work but like... I was looking through recovery mode, and I saw apply update from SD card. And when I clicked it, it said pick a package from SD card to send. Sooo I thought, maybe I could try and put a APK on a SD card, put the SD card on the phone, and than try and unbox it in recovery mode. Could work! I'ma ask my dad for a SD card so than I can try this.
 its for roms too just like apply update from adb
