A lot of people have a problem with the new update SuperUser app 3.0.5. Bug, bootloop, FC with the root access.
@Eddy315West have found a workaround, only for HTC Users (sorry for the others)

All for HTC users using version 3.0.5

1 - Cleardata first in Settings/ Applications/ Manage applications.
2 - Then Settings app to autoresponse
2.1 - Disable logging .
2.2 - Disable notifications

Now apps data require root access should work like root checker

It's just a workaround, not a final solution. They hope a quick update
Works well in my HTC Desire S ;)

I swear this has been responsible for me ROM jumping about 20 ~ 40 times in the last week or so. Everything works fine, next minute sometime big starts force closing .. best one was the phone app ;-).

*Receive call*
*Drag green answer icon down to answer*
*Screen goes black with start bar still active*
"com.android.phone has force closed"

Me: good game superuser, good game.
Desire S: Problem, user?
Me: ...

Worked great for me too!

If you're concerned about not knowing what is getting super user access, I've found that changing the notification type from 'toast' to 'Status Bar' works and so far has no fc issues.

So .. finished work today, grabbed my phone, for some reason I decided to restart it, when it starts back up, it had auto updated to the new superuser, next minute, I was entering the city limits for force-close city, next stop, frustration with a side of smash my desire -_-"

good game android market, good game.

I fixed mine by setting auto response to "allow".. a bit dangerous if you have a lot of apps that requires root access.. make sure you know what you're doing..

apparently only sense rom affected.

i just untick "remember" when the popup asking superuser request, it solved the problem.
