+1I think you missed my point. If you went back and read a couple of pages you would see that the developer was on a vacation with his wife. In the meantime he has delivered a new launcher that is much more tablet friendly. Remember, this is not like cyanogenmod where there is a team of people releasing nightlies.
I agree that there are plenty other builds with more frequent releases. However, none come close to how stable vegan tab 5.11 Beta is. Personally, I would rather wait an entire month until a stable version is released than an "oops" version that makes me have to nvflash my unit.
You are most definitely entitled to your opinion, but I think it is harsh to step in and call his project dead.
In this, the age of instant gratification, people tend to be disappointed by anything but abnormally fast development cycles. Jeez, Mozilla has announced that both major versions 5 and 6 of FireFox will be released this year. Sorry, but it used to be that a major version change was reserved only for really drastic additions of features or functionality. Nowadays, minor bugfixes and interface tweaks prompt changes in version number and make the whole versioning process a joke.
That being said, this is (clearly labeled as) an "experimental" build and no one with any sense should plan on using it as a daily driver unless they just enjoy finding and reporting bugs to the developer. Additionally, anyone that thinks any of gojimi's projects are dead just isn't reading enough here and hasn't bothered to go to his website at all.
I use the extremely-stable VEGAnTab 5.1 beta and the latest VTL Launcher and have very few issues with all-day use. I also have no problem waiting until he releases an actual beta of the Ginger edition to try it out. I am confident it will be worth waiting for.
