First, I am not responsible to what happens after you flash this. If your phone dose not work afterwords it is your own doing. I didn't force you to flash it...

Here is a pretty much stock ROM for the SM-G986U1 or U that I use as my daily driver. I took out knox and a few apps, disabled encryption and AVB. Most of the Google apps are uninstallable. I only own a SM-G986U1 so there is zero support for any other models here. I'll try to keep this up to date every month the best I can. Enjoy.
You Must Have A Unlocked Bootloader and a S20+ U1 or U to Proceed.This Might Wipe Your Data!! Make a Back up!!.
Instructions:
1: Flash with Odin in the respective slots (bl, ap, cp and csc). Use the tar file of needed.
2: Wipe and format data in recovery if coming from a different rom or android version.
3: Reboot and set it up.
Enjoy.

Thanks, I'm just getting back into things after a few years. I figured this would help someone get things going on their unlocked phone a bit easier each time a update rolls out. I restore my data and apps with Samsung cloud after I root.

ROM is updated to Android 11 One UI 3.0. It's the U firmware until Samsung releases U1 but it's rooted and debloated. For root install Magisk Manager from the app tray. Enjoy and see post 2 for the files. Make sure you wipe data to avoid any problems and let setup finish on it's own.

UPDATE

ROM has been updated to U1 firmware OneUI 3.0 Android 11. Game launcher and wifi calling apps need updates before they work properly but once updated they work as they should. So far everything seems good on my end, enjoy. I'm removing the AFH file link in post three and going with MEGA instead. I'm having problems uploading to AFH.

I can't seem to get root to work. I've tried flashing the latest Magisk in TWRP, and it looks like it flashes, but then when I open Magisk Manager, it says "N/A" under "version installed." Any ideas? Thank you!

Hmm I'm not sure on that one other than flashing the stock boot.img in twrp and rooting that (unzip the atached file first). I just press on the magisk app in the app drawer and it roots that way for me. I was just going to ask if I should make the rom with the stock boot instead of a rooted one so I'll re-upload the rom unrooted.

I figured it out! I hadn't realized that root was already included, so by flashing Magisk 20.4, I flashed over the Magisk that was already included, messing things up!
