I also wanted to ask you something. How much time does it generally take to port a ROM like pixel experience to our device?

You can fork my sources, adapt the device tree with Pixel Experience sources and build it.

Probably it will boot without major issues, but these roms are too big for our system partition so you'll need to remove GApps and other extras from the sources to generate a build zip

Sorry but I don't have the knowledge to build a ROM myself but would really like to try. Is there a guide or something like that just to port pixel experience?

I'll post a logcat as soon as it happens again

The interactive governor (default) is ramping the CPU to its maximum frequency regardless of % in system load
The phone is a bit too warm in my hands, but I understand since with that we reduce as much as lags as possible

This Rom Is Extremely Stable But These Issues Are a Bit Of a Concern

I'm focused on Android 12 development but bring up will take longer for legacy devices like our J5.

I even tried to open the phone app manually to see if the answering screen would show up but to no avail

I can't see any error in your log.

We're using Google dialer so that's is the expected behaviour with spam calls, Google Dialer has a built-in option to completely hide spam calls to receiver Including the caller screen

You're right Dev, I'm sorry for reporting that then

I also found out that I hadn't selected the Phone app as the default for calls
So that error is totally on my side (that went unnoticed by me huh)
