[CLOSED][ROM][13.0_r74][UNOFFICIAL] Evolution X 7.9.7 [13/08/2023]

I wanted to instal this and started with flashing "Pitch Black Recovery"
This resulted in have no recovery at all anymore....
I can still boot into my old Rom but no matter what recovery I try to flash I always end up in bootloader mode
It appears to have destroyed my recovery partition...
How do I get it back??

Which recovery (build date) did you flashed? And currently on which rom ?

Flashing on oos11 based custom rom. ?? It will not boot. You need to be on oos12 or oos12 based custom rom to flash pbrp. I didn't add support for oos11 roms in that recovery.

Try booting with first official build of pbrp . Then flash oos12 using the guide available in custom recovery group .

fastboot boot recovery.img

If that doesn't work use msm to go back to stock oos10 and update to oos12.

I would assume you should flash stock ROM. Update to the latest version, unlock the bootloader then try again . See if that works. Because custom recoveries (not AOSP recoveries) work only after I do that

Nope, flash oos12 first. Then you can flash any oos12 based roms.

The dev says that he's using the custom kernel for this ROM with KernelSU support so all you have to do is download the app:

Yeah, I have downloaded app. I am able to use banking apps with root. It is ultimate alternative of magisk.

It is not a custom kernel for this rom. It is the default kernel for this rom. And it is my own kernel. I am the maintainer of both kernel and this rom. So you cannot say it is a custom kernel. If anyone uses my kernel in other than my roms, you can say custom kernel is used in that rom.

Yeah that's what I meant when I said custom. You're maintaining the kernel yourself. Just like how I can say that this is a custom rom.
It's not just a normal kernel without KernelSU support is what I mean.

I request you to update kernel with latest kernel su. When I try to install zydisk for kernel su, it says to update kernel su app. After updating kernel su app, app says kernel version is too low for manager to work properly.

I always update KernelSU with every update of the roms. Kernel SU v0.6.0 was released yesterday and the rom update was released on 02nd of June 2023. So, how can I include the yesterday's KSU version in this rom. So please be patient and wait for the next update.
