A quick question, does anyone know the actual reason for ghost touches on custom ROMs with affected panels? I'm really curious because the stock ROM with custom kernel is giving me 0 issues. I register 0 touch events other than ones I make by normal usage. Want to know what kind of black magic is Xiaomi applying to achieve this.

It gets even weirder. I tried multirom with miui 11 as main and havoc-os 3.0 as secondary. No ghost in havoc after first reboot. I flashed magisk and ghost was back. I can't explain it.

Thanks for sharing, that's valuable info. I've flashed 11.0.5.0 firmware on crdroid and got ghost touch only once for 3 days. So I'm keeping it for now. But miui on Poco f1 is a showstopper for me. Mainly because it fits just a few and ugly and huge notification icons around the big ugly notch. crDroid has great customization options and makes the best use of the tiny area we have around the notch.

Couldn't take it any more, swapped with my gf for her Poco as she doesn't mind the stock firmware. No problems.

Which vendor and firmware do you use?
Is that not freezing at 69hz malakas NVT panel?

I flashed the MIUI 11 ROM via fastboot
(miui_POCOF1Global_V11.0.5.0.PEJMIXM), wiped everything except vendor, flashed this ROM 5.10. No freezes, day 2. f2fs data partition if that is also relevant to you. Also unencrypted, but dm-verity is preserved.

New nightly build is live (01.08.2019 - check nightly folder)

OK so this is a big new update, so lets start with a nightly to make sure things are proper
Since this build, thanks to LOS team especially, we are now running builds with included vendor.
    What does this mean?
Well in short we can now have better control on stuff like display, wifi, GPS, etc, so more control for us developers to change stuff.
You'll still be required to flash firmware file, however newer firmware files won't include vendor stuff anymore. crDroid.zip will get increased size, yet firmware will get decreased.
    Anyway, lets start..

In order to install and before anyone asks, dirty flash is possible (I've tested it myself) yet clean flash is recommended to keep things in order, you need to be sure you are running at least firmware 9.6.20, so if you are unsure, d/l from below link.
Firmware file: https://bit.ly/2Kmenf5 (flash in TWRP first)
If you just installed firmware, reboot to recovery (TWRP) again.
Now, with firmware files in place, install updated crDroid zip (check nightly folder on main d/l link https://crdroid.net/beryllium) and gapps link.
    Reboot and profit :)

Let me know how things work out for you!

    Changelog:
    - Initial release with vendor
    - Updated to latest Optimus Drunk kernel
    - Updated translations
