@N3KkoDark, Rom is overall very good. Smooth and good battery life.

Only thing i am having issues with is bluetooth headsets.

2 Things (#2 is most important):
1. When I turn bluetooth off and back on, my headset becomes unpaired.
2. When my headset is connected, media hooks/controls (for example: play/pause controls) don't work on any media player app.
Volume up and down does work.

It seems like the Bluetooth server is receiving input from the headset when I press the play/pause button on the headset, but not registering what it is or maybe not connecting it to the media controls to actually do the playing/pausing.

I have tested the headset on stock android 12 and there are no issues.
I have tested multiple different headsets in Nekko Rom and am having the same issue.
I also have tried changing AVRCP version, A2DP hardware offload, and audio codec in Developer Options, no fix.

Do you mind looking into this?

Thank you very much. I just tried and can confirm that it works.
Pairings are retained through bluetooth on/off and reboot.

Any ideas on how to get the play/pause media hooks/controls to respond?

It is. Samsung doesn't play nice with root.

Could it be tied to the bluetooth pairing issue, which I have not installed yet as I've had no reason to?

I don't have problems pairing the phone to the car, but Android Auto feels the cable link is not there.

I had tested Android Auto on A11 without issues, and it was built-in. I dont remember if I tested on A12 because I put A12 mainly to put this ROM in, then I downloaded Android Auto from the Play store without realizing Android from 10 and up include Android auto already, so I might have broken it, but uninstalling didnt help.

Hello, if there is a problem with Android auto, I just realized it, since I don't use it and I wasn't aware of that error until you reported it, remove it manually and add it again,I'll send you a link to the app and you put it where I tell you.

Yeah ok, are you saying your ROM does not include Android Auto, and I also should also not install it where Play Store installs it? You planning to link me up with a way to put it back in the right way?

Another thing I am noticing:

Background Usage Limits (Sleeping Apps, Deep Sleeping Apps, Never Sleeping Apps) menus all have no apps in them to choose (e.g. they are completely empty). I cannot choose apps to sleep, or deep sleep, or keep awake.

This also may be related to the fact that the Battery part of Device Care menu has been on "learning usage patterns" for over a week now.
I also cannot see my battery usage because of this.
