I really don't understand you. It is in post #1 and #2.
If you did not use the GTX-ROM, then with what did you try to flash your unit? And why do you use this thread?

I think you hijacked this thread and therefore put me on the wrong foot.
I don't know such a radio I gotI think you hijacked this thread and therefore put me on the wrong foot.
Let's start again.
Did you try to flash a firmware?
Or did your unit just starting to do this "at some moment"?
Again: Did it just start to do this? Did it never work correctly?I don't know such a radio I got
and I don't think the firmware was flashed
when i got it it didn't workAgain: Did it just start to do this? Did it never work correctly?
I managed to upload it but when I turn it on it turns off after 10 secondsThen simply forget it and buy a new one. See my anser in #2455.
It is too old.
Buy a new one.I managed to upload it but when I turn it on it turns off after 10 seconds
i want to revive itBuy a new one.
It is so old that it even has a tattoo on its chest: "do not resuscitate"
Well in that case you might need to do a teardown and replace/upgrade the thermal paste on the processor. It sounds like these units suffer from heat issues so if you wish to revive it start with the hardware side.....clean the boards of dust etc and repaste the heatsink/processor.
Not only that. Those Sofia's were "cold soldered". The CPU and also other chips suffered from heat strain (hot-cold-hot-cold) and some of the soldering points break loose. That means that you might need to resolder as well.Well in that case you might need to do a teardown and replace/upgrade the thermal paste on the processor. The newer firmwares check for correct CRC via the signed key. The old ones did not do this yet.
