Updating my firmware with what? The last Android 12 xiaomi.eu?

I must install los recovery?
What is sideload command?

Thanks by advance
simply :
install the latest stable eu rom A11
the firmware will updated.
download lineageos for lmi latest build rom zip, and also the lineage recovery img from the lineage website.
you need adb installed and fastboot
(use search option to find files that you need.)
put the los rom zip file + los recovery img + fox orange recovery img + magisk zip file + Gapps zip file into the adb fastboot folder.
now you need to put your poco f2 into fastboot
connect it to your pc
and execute cmd from your adb folder.
and execute :
fastboot boot recovery name_los_recovery. img
rename the los recovery img to make thing easier
your phone will be booted into los recovery.
do factory reset and format system then go to apply update from adb sideload.
from you cmd window : adb sideload rom. zip
sideload the gapps zip and magisk with the same command and look at your phone screen you need to confirm the installation.
and reboot

@Fangstergangsta You don't need to install LOS recovery, it is included in the ROM. It is only added to the site in case you lose recovery for whatever reason.
Just follow the official instructions and you'll be fine. No need to do anything else, it will just confuse you.

I'm using Manuel Bianco's TWRP 3.5.1 from here myself.

am using this twrp too but when i make the first ota update of xiaomi.eu that replace it by 3.4.2b...
How you keep it if los recovery is already inside LOS zip?

and what about volte on LOS?

If you follow the instructions and install LOS through TWRP it will stay. Only when you flash it with fastboot you'll probably lose it (I'm not even sure, it used to be that way).

VoLTE should work, although we don't have it in my area so I never tried. It even works in the new unofficial LOS19.0 by @SebaUbuntu.

the best thing is to not install los recovery... just boot it without install, then install with side load command after formating system and factory reset.... the sideload install is the best method without errors. then i recomand to install fox recovery because it's supporting OTA update lineageos without loosing root or Gapps. and of course it's support decrypting data too.
the only bug with fox recovery that you can't format system and do a clean factory reset that why using los recovery is better for the first installation.

and here is my actual config for LOS 18.1 Lmi :
+Orange Fox recovery ( as recovery )
+NikGapps Core only ( i prefer cleanest rom and install what i need after....)
+Magisk : systemless hosts and Magisk Hide activated from settings, Magisk Hide props to install a valid fingerprint and certificate for A11 ( pocof2 pro original one ) it's necessary to pass safetynet test.
+Urnyx05's GCam 7.3.018 ( with the correct xml config file )
+Adaway latest apk from github.
+Vanced youtube black themed without adds.
+AccuWeather widget for meteo.

hope my config can help people seeking a clean LOS 18.1 rom with a great battery life.

regards

Hello all.

Is it me or USB-tethering doesn't work with LineageOS for lmi ? I can't get it to work.
(Oneplus 5T with same version does the trick)

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

LineageOS is a free, community-built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 11 (R) designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS still includes various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS GitHub repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a complete list of changes & features.
