Hello everybody,

I hope it fits in here.

I forgot the pattern on my S21 + after resetting the phone, my phone still wanted the pattern or a Google account. He doesn't take my Google account and after a long back and forth with the Samsung support they offered me support for about 100€ an hour. Which I find cheeky. That thing already cost me a lot of money.

At first I tried to flash the firmware via ODIN, but this did not work. After a long search I found out that the FRP is not removed with it.

Then I tried to work around the FRP via SamFirm. I had some success with that. After I had to put my PC into safe mode, it showed me that it had opened this message and that I should click on "view". However, nothing opened there.

Do I have to downgrade the firmware? Or is there any other way? Unfortunately, I can't turn on USB debugging either because I can't get there.

Thank you in advance for every message. And stay healthy.

Best and easiest way to fix it is not to do it!
KNOW your Google account password, duh.
Back it up somehow like your wife depended on it🤣
Delete your Google and Samsung accounts on the phone then do a factory reset from settings rather than from the boot menu if you can.

Turn off/deactivate the pattern lock screen, delete your Google and Samsung accounts* from the device before doing the factory reset.
Do the reset then from Settings rather than the boot menu. That should prevent any issues.

*make sure you have the account/passwords written down.

How are you supposed to turn off/deactivate lockscreen pattern if I don't know it? If I did I would not need to frp or anything cause I'd just delete the accounts in settings before factory resetting. Prob is I don't know the lockscreen pattern. It was a phone I gave my now ex. She threw it at me when she left the other day. I paid for it and paid the bill but I wasn't gonna ask for it back.
If I could flash custom recovery I'd just delete the lock screen in system in recovery but not a option.

Isn't wuv grand?
Sorry I thought this was a simple question.
I imagine the solution is the same for if you... forgot... your password.
If it works, don't know. Google it.

Samsung will probably unlock it with proof of purchase. Samsung tech support is about as easy to deal with as your ex though.

There is a solution to this actually. It the frp bypass via the alliance shield x app. I was having issues with the view option as well. It would work one time, once I restarted the computer that is. Figured out I just had to reinstall the driver's everytime I ran the program. I'm sure there is a better workaround but that is how I got passed the issue. My big problem right now is that Verizon's variant doesn't support Samsung cloud so there is no restore option in the settings so I am unable to install the alliance app. I am working with the Verizon S21 SM-G991USQU3AUDB. I wanted to see if maybe there was a partition I could flash through Odin or Heimdall. Does anyone know if this is possible?

If phone is accessible via ADB then to remove FRP lock one can try running these ADB commands - one by one
Code:
adb devices
adb shell "am start -n com.google.android.gsf.login/"
adb shell "am start -n com.google.android.gsf.login.LoginActivity"
adb shell "content insert --uri content://settings/secure --bind name:s:user_setup_complete --bind value:s:1"
adb reboot

ADB isn't working because a valid USB-connection isn't established at all.

On phone enable USB-debugging, reboot phone, connect phone with computer via USB-cable, then retry.
