In my case the wide camera is the 3rd camera. Thus for me the wide camera crashes...
What do you mean with clearing storage in the camera? I didn't see this option... I only see the Device storage option under standard settings...

Cheers!
Sorry I mean clearing the camera apps internal storage, not from within the app, sorry.

Ok, I wanted confirmation that I was not the only one being affected by this force-close issue with ID3 sensor.

So here is the fix (LMC R9 APK + Custom Profiles V2.5.1): https://ufile.io/hx8ac4cp

It is exactly same as V2.5, except that force-close when using Ultra-Wide sensor should be fixed.

Please confirm that it is now fixed for all of you, thanks!

[ Edit: I noticed that IR / PhotoChrom (ID4) sensor was also affected by this force-close, so I reuploaded new V2.5.1 custom profiles that should fix it as well. ]

Thanks a lot, Surfeur! Everything works absolutely proper now. Wide camera and IR-Sensor as well. No more crashes! Have a nice weekend!

Cheers!

Slomo works in the sense that it records. But the video is not recorded with the high frame rate.

You can see the difference if you record the same shot (like drop a toy from the same height) with gcam and with native camera at 240fps, and then watch the resulting footage.

I am doing this on EvoX (12.1) latest ROM with OOS 11 as the base kernel.

PS: EvoX is the best ROM for this phone right now. Its more stable and smoother than OOS 11 and has none of the bugs of the OOS 12. It has native OOS Cam

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I agree that SloMo is not the real deal, but I'd not rely on anything video with any GCam mod anyway.

LMC Dev (Hasli) has unfortunately stopped working on the project, a few weeks ago, so it's very unlikely we'd see any new release. However, some other devs, working on different mods, may keep upgrading to newer GCam bases. Personally, I prefer a slightly 'older' base with tons of functions, tweaks, some stability and a fun interface to some newer bases with very limited possibilities.

There's still one thing that I'd want to get from any of these mods: some real geometric distortion correction from the UW sensor. Apart from that, anything photo, I already use LMC as my daily driver (I only use the original cam for videos, or mcpro24fps sometimes).

I admit immediately that I did not read the whole thread, and the search engine from the web page does not allow you to search only this thread but the entire XDA forum.

Does the last mod discussed by you, "LMC R9" allow in any way to pics in 48m (6000*8000px) resolution for OnePlus8Pro?
Once, probably after an update from Android 10 to Android 11, OnePlus probably blocked access to third -party applications to this module - it seems to describe DEV to describe HomeSite GCAM-Mod.

And subsequent issues that are interested in what the switches with the names: "LDR", "Leica" on the left side of the interface mean, and the "HDR Net" function swallowed by the top next to the gear wheel with options.
Because "ois" I guess it's about Optical Image Stabilization".

OIS is optical stabilization. 48MP photos is not supported by third party cameras. EvoX custom ROM however has added the original camera app, thus making 48MP photos possible.

Do you mean EvolutionX V6.4?

Can this Evox version be installed on an Android 12 (Build C.20) company with OnePlus8Pro?
Do I have to make a roolback for Andoid11?

It is true that in this Roma there is a mention of A11, but the author could not update the entries, because for OP8PRO in the second post he has completely mistaken links to files:/

You have to rollback to A11 because custom recoveries can't decode A12 roms yet. Make sure to flash to A11 to stock as it's shown on Lineage Forum, as you'll want to flash everything to both slots to e.g. keep L1.
Join the official EvoX telegram channel if you have any questions.

🌟 Custom Profiles from NiCkAM8PRO V1.1: https://ufile.io/rk2kypne 💥

PW: NiCkAM8PRO-for-XDA (yes, I decided to set some password to limit, to some extent, the 're-share' of it outside of the XDA community).

>>> MAKE SURE YOU UNINSTALL ANY OTHER GCAM MOD 'SNAP' VERSION BEFORE YOU INSTALL THIS ONE. <<<

This is still a Work-In-Progress so please refrain from complaining without bringing anything useful for this project and for the community in return.

There might be some limitations, of course, but anyone who wants to try it can just play with it and customize it their own way. All sensors work fine, including the 'IR' one. Face detection seems to work, as well as Face beauty (at least for selfie cam), can record videos [email protected] with both OIS & EIS with back cam, night mode works ok too.

I included 2 custom profiles with this release. The second one allows you to record at 48MP from all back 3 sensors (UW, Main & Tele) and 20MP from the 'iR' sensor. However, all this is achieved through interpolation (ie. 'artificial upscaling'). AFAIK, it doesn't use the real sensor resolution, but from my few experiments, you still manage to get a bit more detailed pictures (and possibly a bit more 'noise' as well) compared to 12MP shots.

I'd advise you disable AWB (auto white balance) through the Quick Panel menu when shooting under daylight (for cooler/bluer tones), and enable AWB for nightshots (warmer tones).

Cheers!

LMC R10 Google Cam Mod (V8.4.300 Base) - Dev is finally back, for now! Still my favorite mod... :)

Changelog:
- Redesigned the menu and its styles, a bit of the interface.
- Smashed the sessions on the lenses (I stole the code from @md_shamim12)
- Fix resolution on the front camera
- Added focus reset timeout to Tweaks LMS
- Focus slider and shutter slider separated into different buttons
- Added disable button
- Added new options to the Test patcher.
- Added new noise models
- Added new Color Transforms
- Added more values to shutter priority.
- Added 3 frames per button
- Updated LDR patcher
- All config update

Corrections:
- Fixed work on Xiaomi 12
- Leica and OIS buttons without restart (I stole the idea from @xenius9gcc)
- Removed some parameters from the lens settings BUT they are in the pro patcher.
- Autofocus code changed.
- The app is even faster.
- Many other fixes

🌟 Custom XML NiCkAM8PRO V2.6 (APK + XML): https://ufile.io/i4vnl1fu 💥
[PW: NiCkAM8PRO-for-XDA ]

Depending on the scene (outdoor, indoor, nightshot / bright light...), you are avised to enable / disable the 'Exposure Compensation' toggle (the blue-white sun at the top of the viewfinder. 'OFF' will make the overall scene Brighter). It is also preferable (whatever GCam mod you use) to manually touch the screen on your 'zone of interest' before taking the shot.

Cheers.

// Updated the links with @smorpaket 's fix in the Dev-Settings, for those affected by the issue. Thanks buddy! \\

🌟 Here is my custom profile (V3.0) for LMC R12 Edition 💥 https://ufile.io/ybdhfaf4 (APK + XML)

    [ PW: NiCkAM8PRO-for-XDA ]

    1) Just download the file above, unzip it (using the provided password), then install the apk file on your device.

    2) Extract the xml configuration file, as well as its folder, onto your phone internal storage.

    3) Then, just start the app, give the necessary privileges, double-click on the lower black area near the 'shutter' button of the app, it should allow you to load custom profiles. Select my xml, press ok, and voila! :)

    -- XML CHANGELOG --

    • Several modifications, starting from 'HDR+Enhanced' being disabled by default, which allows instant shots to be taken without the need to hold the phone steadily for a second or two for all the HDR frames to be captured.
    • Plenty of details in the shots, while keeping noise at bay as much as possible. Details Versus Noise is always a personal choice in the end, depending how many small details you're willing to sacrifice for the noise to be minimized...
    • SlowMotion, which made the app crash in previous release, is now fixed. It's still not the same real slowmo that you get from stock app though.
    • 'Cinematic Pan' mode has been added (Video section > Stabilization section), which allows for 4K half-speed cine-motion.
    • Adjustments made in the Exposure Compensation area for all back sensors, as well as several modifications in the RamPatcher section in order to get as many details from the sensors while lowering noise.

    -- APP CHANGELOG --

    • Changed some options in the default developer.
    • Changed autofocus code to close to AGC.
    • Fixed ISO / Expo slider
    • Fixed JPG compression
    • Fixed a crash on the front camera on Mi10, X3P, and some others where it gave an Autotimer error.
    • Added all possible Sensor IDs
    • Choice of lens logic
    • Upscale / Downscale
    • Manual input of Color correction, noise models, white balance.
    • New options in the test patcher
    • Fixed noise and stability issues on all interfaces
    • Fixed auto-detection of the lens logic (Previously there was always ID4 Tele, regardless of the sensor)
    • Fixed live photo resolution selection
    • Optimized application and processing speed.

    -- README --

'Exposure Compensation' (the 'White Sun' icon on the ViewFinder) is OFF by default. If your shots are too bright, just ENABLE it ('Blue Sun') and the exposure will be lowered.

'HDR+Enhanced' mode is disabled by default, which allows for instant shots to be captured and some faster image processing as well. Just enable it in the 'Quick Settings' and increase the 'Exposure Time' (long-press the gallery icon) if you need some (slightly) higher image quality results.

Unfortunately, there is no dedicated Color & WB profiles for our ID4 (InfraRed) sensor. I've tried many options, but none would provide the exact same results as what you see on the viewfinder before capturing the shot. You can still get close to it, in some way, by disabling 'AWB' when using this sensor.

    Have Fun :)

🌟 Here is a minor update of my custom profile (V2.9) for latest LMC R12 GCam 💥 https://ufile.io/pdnjtjyo (APK + XML)

    [ PW: NiCkAM8PRO-for-XDA ]

    -- CHANGELOG --

    • Better detailed shots from the main back camera thanks to a different noise profile, as well as some tweaks in the RamPatcher area.

    -- README --

    • It is recommended to use the normal shooting mode for almost all photographic situations (even low-light scenarios), and the Night mode exclusively for almost completely dark scenes.

    • Default Shutter speed is set at 1/20s. Low-Light & Night shots may require a longer shutter speed, which you can manually adjust by long-pressing the 'gallery icon' on the lower-right of the viewfinder.

    • When shooting high-contrast scenes, my advice is to manually touch the viewfinder on your zone-of-interest, before you capture the shot.

    • Keep in mind that this custom profile includes some exposure compensation that you can activate by pressing the SUN icon on the upper-right of the viewfinder.

    - BLUE SUN (Exposure Compensation ON --> Darker!) should fit:
Low-Light / Night, Indoor, Macro and more (feel free to experiment)

    - WHITE SUN (Exposure Compensation OFF / Default --> Brighter!):
People, Large Outdoor Scenes, Landscape, Architecture...

    Have Fun! :)

    🌟 Custom XML NiCkAM8PRO V1.4 for LMC R11 Lite (APK + XML): https://ufile.io/kj9des7i 💥
    [ PW: NiCkAM8PRO-for-XDA ]

    -- README --

3 custom profiles are provided: 'Authentic, Boosted, Colorful'. Each one progressively increases brightness and saturation, to fit different scenarios and user preferences .

Which one should you use? It's as simple as A-B-C!
You might consider 'Authentic' for close-up shots and when using Night Mode, 'Colorful' for landscape and high-contrast outdoor scenes, and finally 'Boosted' profile for various other situations (this one is somewhere between 'Authentic' & 'Colorful'). I'd also advise users to manually focus on their zone-of-interest for high-contrast scenes.

For night shots and (very) low-light photography, I'd advise you long-press the gallery icon, on the viewfinder, and select a longer exposure time / lower ISO, as well as increase the number of HDR frames from 'Auto' to 15, or even 27 if you can be steady for a moment.

Finally, keep in mind there is no absolute rule for which profile you should use, as it really comes down to user preferences and photographic conditions.

    -- CHANGELOG --

Slight improvements in the Ultra-Wide department. Gamma curves for 'Boosted' and 'Colorful' have been modified, and saturation levels were adjusted accordingly. Brightness for each of the 3 back lenses, for each profile, has been optimized. Auto Night Mode has also been turned ON (can be easily disabled upon your preferences).

    Enjoy! :)

    🌟 Custom XML NiCkAM8PRO V2.8 for LMC R12 (APK + XML): https://ufile.io/wy6yic2h 💥
    [ PW: NiCkAM8PRO-for-XDA ]

    -- README --

This release offers the option to upscale the shots. If you activate the 'RES' icon on the lower-left side of the viewfinder, you will get 48MP on the Main, Tele & UW back sensors, 20MP on the 'IR' sensor, and 16MP for the front/selfie camera. You could get a bit more detailed shots, but keep in mind it is just some (artificial) upscaling. Still, it might be interesting to use in some specific scenarios.

For night shots and (very) low-light photography, I'd advise you long-press the gallery icon, on the viewfinder, and select a longer exposure time / lower ISO, as well as increase the number of HDR frames from 'Auto' to 15, or even 27 if you can be steady for a moment.

Don't forget to make use of the EXPOSURE COMPENSATION icon (the 'Sun' icon at the top-right of the viewfinder). Make sure you activate it (blue icon), mostly for INDOOR/CLOSEUP shots, and disable it (white icon) for LANDSCAPE/OUTDOOR shots, otherwise you'll get either too bright or too dark results.

    -- APP CHANGELOG --

    • Choice of lens logic
    • Upscale / Downscale
    • Manual input of Color correction, noise models, white balance.
    • New options in the test patcher
    • Updated tooltips, styles, buttons, etc. Added ways to support development.
    • Fixed noise and stability issues on all interfaces
    • Fixed auto-detection of the lens logic (Previously there was always ID4 Tele, regardless of the sensor)
    • Fixed live photo resolution selection
    • Optimized application and processing speed.

    Enjoy! :)

[ Edit: I noticed some luma noise when using Night Mode. I'll try to have a look at it and fix the issue in a later release. ]

🌟 Here is an updated version of my custom profiles pack (V1.6) for LMC R11 LITE 💥 https://ufile.io/bffuk3p5 (APK + XML)

    [ PW: NiCkAM8PRO-for-XDA ]

    -- CHANGELOG --

    • Several small bugfixes and 'improvements' here and there.

    -- README --

This GCAM mod is, in my opinion, still the best out there at the moment. Very stable, pretty much everything works as it should, and the processing is quite fast. More importantly, quality results are here and it is not too painful to configure. I use this mod daily and I now barely use the stock cam app (except maybe for a few occasional macro shots). Less over-sharpening (more natural / softer / DSLR-like results), less noise and less overblown highlights, for more recovered details compared to stock app.

    3 profiles: 'Authentic' (A), 'Boosted' (B), 'Colorful' (C).
Their brightness & saturation are progressively increased from A to C.

Exposure Compensation will BRIGHTEN your shots for all the back sensors if you activate it (SUN icon on the viewfinder will be BLUE). You should not need to activate it for indoor shots, but you'll probably need it when shooting outdoor. Keep in mind that on all 3 profiles, Exposure Compensation is OFF by default!

Not sure how to greatly improve these custom XMLs anymore, as I believe we are reaching the limits of the sensors...

    Have Fun :)

    Hello OnePlus Addicts,

Here is a Custom-Made SUPER-PACK of some of the newest Google Camera Mods available out there, which contains the work of several developers such as Greatness (Rakin), B-S-G, P.Z.D, MTSL, LMC and Wichaya.

Please, keep in mind that I am not an app developer, myself, just an enthousiastic end-user happy to share the good stuff!

    🌟 DOWNLOAD (APKs + Custom Profiles): https://ufile.io/3kitg3dw 🌟
    ( PW: NiCkAM8PRO-for-XDA )

[ LMC R12 is currently the latest customized pack of profiles included in this Super-Pack ]

    >>> The included XML configuration profiles are made for ONEPLUS 8 PRO ONLY! Using them on another device may result in some serious bugs, crashes, and it will definitely not bring you the same user experience... <<<

    1) Just download the file above, unzip it (using the provided password), then install the apk file of your choice on your device.

    2) Extract the appropriate xml configuration file, as well as its folder, onto your phone internal storage.

    3) Then, just start the app, give the necessary privileges, double-click on the lower black area near the 'shutter' button of the app, it should allow you to load custom profiles. Select my xml, press ok, done! :)

Some of these mods come with Face Detection, Face Retouch (both Front & Back sensors), great color reproduction, low noise, excellent details (especially on the main back sensor), FHD & 4K videos @ 30/60FPS with OIS/EIS stabilization, Night Shots, Astro-Photography, Portrait and more...

However, there is still no Distortion Correction/Fix on Wide-Angle sensor, on any GCam mod I have tried sor far actually. This might come in the future, but it seems to be quite hard for devs to implement in their respective mods. This can be fixed by some apps in post-editing anyway...

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There are some 'hidden' shortcuts in some of these GCam mods! For example, with Greatness, P.Z.D, MTSL and LMC, you can access the (very useful) Exposure/ISO menu by long-pressing the circle 'gallery' button on the lower-right of the main app screen, which will provide you with a choice of ISO settings, as well as Exposure choices. The lower the ISO, the better the final picture quality, but it will take more time to 'capture' your image. The same goes for Exposure; the longer the time, the better your image (and the lower iso at the same time), but you may have to be steady if you go lower than 1/10s.

A long-press on the Camera-Switch button (on Greatness Mod), on the lower-left of the main app screen, will directly bring you to the App Settings.

Double-Press the viewfinder itself will zoom 2x to what you want to shoot, and will display the Zoom Bar at the bottom, so you can finely adjust it!

There is also a 'Sunset' shortcut on the main screen/viewfinder (Greatness Mod), just above the 3 back sensors, which should theoretically bring better color reproduction and lighting to your sunsets.

Also, one personal advice when using some, if not all of these mods: You will get BETTER EXPOSURE as well as LIGHTER SHADOWS when selecting your focus zone MANUALLY (within limits of your focus zone of interest, obviously). This goes for Daylight shots, as well as Nightshots, and another advice would be to try to select either a Dark area of your image (when shooting in daylight) OR one of the Brightest zones (for example, some streetlights at night), and then take the shot. The App should then do a better job at adjusting your Exposure, Contrast and Shadows, and this will greatly reduce risks of Under-Exposing or Over-Exposing your shots. When taking snapshots of people, in case the app can't detect their face, make sure you select it manually, you will definitely get brighter, more detailed skin results. It may be one extra-step, but I personally found out that it was usually worth doing it!

    🌸🌞 NiCkAM8PRO V6.4 Custom Profiles (for OP8Pro) - B.S.G Google Camera 🌞🌸

😻 Hello XDA buddies and GCAM lovers 🔥

A new version of B.S.G Google Camera mod was released ('GV1u'), which fixes some annoying bug with our device (Changelog: Fixed a bug when saving photos on devices whose raw format resolution is not 4/3 or 16/9, like Redmi Note8-9 Pro, OP8Pro and others).

    🌟DOWNLOAD (APK + Custom Profiles): https://ufile.io/2xx4arec 🌟

It is advised to completely UNINSTALL the previous version (clear cache and data before you proceed), then install this new V8.1 "GV1u" edition.

Of course, as always, this new App version comes with my own custom 'Profiles', available in 3 different flavors ('Fine', 'HQ' and 'Night'), depending on what mix of Quality / Speed you wish to achieve. They are the result of some very personal choices regarding saturation, contrast, colors, brightness, exposure...), so in case they do not match yours, just take them as a base and adapt them to your needs and preferences.

    💖 NiCkAM8PRO V6.4 Custom Profiles for B.S.G - Changelog & Advice:

✅ 3 Custom Profiles based on different Exposure Time ('Speed') and HDR frames (Warning: Be STEADY when using 'Night' profile and for 'HQ' mode -in low light- as well!).
✅ Optimized White Balance and Noise Profiles for our OnePlus 8 Pro, for all lenses.
✅ RamPatcher areas have been carefully set for natural results, yet slightly enhanced saturation/contrasts/details.
✅ Face Retouch (Level-1) and Face Detect set 'ON' for all lenses, Back & Front.
✅ Astrophotography works fine, just remember to set a Timer in order to avoid blurry pics!
✅ Front camera settings are set for natural colors (i.e: with saturation kept at reasonable levels), still with some details. However, keep in mind that any GCAM app will take pictures at 4MP only (instead of 16MP with stock app) when using the Front Lens of our OP8 Pro (a limitation that cannot be currently overcome).
✅Exposure was willingly kept at reasonable levels, which allows for truer, more realistic pictures, closer to what you really see, and maintains more details in the pictures at the same time (less blown-out zones). If that's not your preference, simply adjust Exposure Compensation in the Settings > Modules, or in post-processing.
✅ Developer settings are carefully selected, to offer as many functions as possible for our device, with some good stability.
✅ AWB is automatically turned ON when using 'Night' profile. If using any other profile in dark / night situation, or under some artificial lights, just remember to set Auto White-Balance 'ON' to avoid unpleasant results.
✅ Social Share functions are activated on all profiles, for easy file sharing, as well as being a useful indicator for when your pictures have been fully processed by the app. Let the app finish its processing work before switching to another lens!
✅ In some situation (i.e under some harsh lighting conditions), it is advised to manually set your point of focus, as well as your exposure, using the dedicated slider.

A tiny little update for 'B.S.G GCam profiles pack' that might fix some noise artefacts in some low-light scenarios. If you are fine with previous V5.1, then it's fine, if not, you could try this one :)

    Hello buddies,

Currently in a short trip but I have some good news for you; Greatness developer managed to publish a new version of his Google Camera Mod, oriented toward the OnePlus 7, 8 and 9 series, with AUX support (yes, Wide & Tele work perfectly on it!), Face Retouch as well, low noise, nice picture, OIS stabilization when taking shots, and much more...

Greatness Modified Google Camera V8.2, with NiCkAM8PRO V1.2 Profile: https://ufile.io/7z7fgpch

    1) MAKE SURE YOU FULLY UNINSTALL any other Google Camera app that you may have on your phone before installing this one. ALSO COPY THE 'CONFIGS8' FOLDER in my zip file inside of your (preexisting or not) GCAM folder of your phone storage.

    2) First time you start the App, grant the needed privileges, then go to the Settings, Advanced, scroll down then select XML Configs, and click the top option with the yellow sign, which should allow the app to 'read/write' custom profile configuration files on your device.

    3) Go back to the main GCam screen, then DOUBLE-PRESS the black area AROUND the SHUTTER button, this will allow you to LOAD my XML configuration file.

    4) Select it, then ENJOY this great mod!

Took me some time to set this one up, but here it is... Hope you guys will enjoy it as much as I do! :)
