I upgraded my SD with verygreen's latest drop and it is much smoother and I have now gone 24 hours without a reboot.

Is anybody else experiencing issues with the keyboard not working?
Seems to be a common problem. I got around it by installing the Google keyboard, which I find much better anyway. Others have done the same. I was able to do via a result with TiBU. I read someone else used voice.

I'm not able to post yet in the development threads, but just in case verygreen reads here..

Regarding the emmc issues - I also have a Nook HD+ 16GB which reports as MAG2GA and 0x000015.

I'm running fine on the 8/21 nightly, the only 2 things that aren't working for me are the kindle app (well known issue) and my vpn connections SAY they're connected, but no traffic goes through the tunnel. Identical settings on a stock Nexus 7 work fine. I've been scouring the forums to see if someone has encountered this on 10.x but haven't seen anything relevant to what I'm experiencing.

...and, if verygreen is reading, since I can't post in the developer forum yet, this is a Nook HD+ 32 and I have MBG4GA 0x000015 memory controller.

Mine just got bricked, No warning, just rebooted, could not complete the second boot, and now just hangs at cyanoboot screen :(
I'd suggest to start or join a thread for help in the Help & Troubleshooting area and give more details about your hardware, which nightly, and what you were doing on your nook when this happened.

Try this....go into recovery (power off, then power on while holding the "N") wipe cache (only cach, not davlik or format)
reboot

I have had this issue off and on since July version of cm10.1

I also cannot post in the developer forum yet and hopefully can get some good info for verygreen if he sees this.

I have a Nook HD+ 32GB that has MBG4GA 0x000015 that was purchased around the Mother's Day sale time and my girlfriend has a Nook HD+ 16 that has MAG4GA 0x000015 that was purchased about 1 week ago.

Wipe cache. That would happen to me any time I enabled 'quick render' in the launcher settings.

Any luck w/ 10.2 and Kindle app?

Tho to be fair, Kindle broke with 10.1 8-13 build (8-11 works fine) so I don't think it's 10.2 exclusive. But whatever broke it has carried into 10.2

Upgraded to 8/26 Nightly, location still not working with MAPS.

Weather location is still not working with the Clock Widget, if you pick a specific location then it does update.

I was successful in getting MAPS and Beautiful Widgets to do the geolocation fine. Run MAPS, turn off WiFi and turn it back on. After resuming WiFi, look at current location or plan a route from current location to anywhere else. The Satellite view (Earth) works from the MAPS too.

The WiFi problem was something we had early on and then went in updates. Back with CM10.2. The fix I used is the same. You can glance at the early posts and you'll see it.

But when you turn off the WiFi how do you get the location? Nook uses WiFi connection to identify the location since there is no GPS

I've wasted so much time trying to get to a stable system with any of the CM builds for the HD+, and now that it's not boot-looping every time it goes to sleep, I discover that the one thing I wanted to do--read my current Kindle Whispersync book--does not work. Also, 10.2 seems to have even more incompatibilities, including the one game I actually play sometimes, Zen Pinball HD.

I'm thinking my next move is taking the HD+ back to stock, which worked fine for me for weeks after they added Play. The CM UI is nearly as gimped as stock with the lack of Tablet UI, anyway. The only things I'm giving up are Recent Apps and Google Voice/GrooveIP. I do hope development continues, but I need a daily driver.

You have to turn off WiFi and then turn back on. My post is unclear.
