CM 12.1 reporting hotspot data to T-Mobile?

I posted a thread earlier and just kinda realized that it was a stupid way to phrase it. I wanted to ask the question if anyone else was experiencing this issue: T-Mobile is now able to measure my hotspot usage when previously they couldn't. I temporarily switched to ATT over the summer and made a few adjustments to my XT 1045--namely, updated the bootloader, modem firmware, and changed my recovery from Clockworkmod to Cyanogen Recovery, so I can't even pin where I screwed up.
