Ok. Checked, but no success yet.

withdt.img >> stucked at LeEco blablabla
nodt.img >> bootloop LeEco /Penguin/LeEco... (Penguin lasts a bit longer compared to version with 02mod imo, but i am not sure), can`t be powered off, even not by TWRP/"PowerOff".

Specs and debates all across internet say no NFC. But this company and this US phone, not officially released by the LeTV, are such a mess that anything is possible.

Keep up with good work. Fingers crossed.

Meanwhile I am not sure about the status of my phone and if it is a suitable candidate for further trials.
All my current backups are not booting after restore, except my very first backup of full 11s Stock rom which is from more than one year ago.
Betahydri CM12.1 ROM is booting after fresh install all the time, but is not booting after backup and restore.


Edit: Could manage to restore my newer backups, also my backup from CM12.1 (procedure was not as expected but it works)
Have another phone prepared temporarily to keep Le1 Pro US for testing, so waiting for new stuff.

Hi Guy,
So far the ROM looks OK to me but is there any chance to add following features please?

1) Smart cover open/close don't power on/off the screen, this feature uses X800 magnetic sensors to wake or turn off screen with smart cover. If you dont have smart cover then you can test with any metal plate (i suppose).

2) Cant find "Schedule power on / off" option.

As you know above features are available in all official ROMs and X800 hardware is supported.

Bad news.

Phone seems to be dead this evening. I switched it off last night in safe and working condition (i am pretty sure about that). It was also cooled down after 10 Minutes switched off, I checked this.

Now there is no charging indicator, no vibration and no reaction to any button (long press and so on) or plug in of charging cable anymore.

Looks like charger is charging, phone is getting slightly warm, charger has normal temperature. I will wait about two hours and report the state later.

Is it hard bricked ? Any Idea ? PC did not recognize anything.

(So don`t worry. I took this into account when I started to contribute to these trial tests)

Well, I am sorry about this. Maybe is not dead just in ""coma"". You will need the procedure described by Betahidry somewhere at the beginning of this thread (post #10) with Qualcomm's resurrection method, I think. :fingers-crossed:

Phone is fully charged now. Charger and phone is cool, but phone is dead.
No power button reaction and no sign of connection with PC ( I am not sure about Post 10 can help)
No devices listed in adb when typed adb devices.
Any more options ?

Edit: It is unbelievable !!!!!
Pressed power button and "volume -" for about one minute and penguin occoured and right after that it booted normally to CM12.1

I'm testing this ROM and I will update this post. I previously tested all ABM30 ROMS on X800+ CN.

Additionnal packages to be installed from recovery:

Software / System :
  • There is 2 launchers, Nova and a new one, Lawchair. I've tested Lawchair. It's a great one. A lot of simple parameters to match our use.
  • Titanium Backup is embeded. But I had problem with it, couldn't read my backup and couldn't update the app. I had to remove it with /system/app mover app. Reinstall and now it's ok. Maybe you could remove Titanium Backup from this Build?
  • Tethering is ok ! Well done !
  • GPS seems to have problems. Tested on a car and during a walk. The signal is week and it takes a long time to have the position. Latest test outside (walking in a street) : 3 GPS + 3 GLONAS after 5 min. How can we improve the quality of GPS localisation?
  • The BlueGold Sidebar configuration request is always visible in the notifications. You can't remove this request except you disable the app in it's config panel. But after that impossible to have it back. The launchers are really good and full of options. Is the BlueGold Sidebarbar useful in this Build?
  • Bluetooth: Ok
  • Camera: Ok but I had some crash.
  • Cell phone: Ok
  • Wifi: Ok
  • IR remote: Not tested but as says ABM30, it's not working.

Fast Charging ?

Fast changing enable or disable in this rom?

Starting at=22%charged
In 30min=45% charged
In 60min =76% charged
Wifi on others setting is default ,fresh install rom. Is this normal charged or fast charged?

ABM30, thanks for the time spent with US version of this phone!

For now, I cannot test because have little free time and this phone are 2 sim enable (personal and professional).
