Still got the No Sim Card bug :/
You didn't flash the correct build or you flashed some custom ROM that would have modified this or you flashed some taiwanese firmware or ota. You probably have the taiwanese variant (eyetuhl) which isn't supported because no one is able to send me the correct file list (the one tester who contacted me was rude and unhelpful, and wasn't experienced with android/didn't know what he was doing).

It is REALLY REALLY frustrating when users can't/won't read simple instructions.

https://github.com/CyanogenMod/android_device_htc_eyeatt/commits/cm-12.1

Vendor blobs I won't talk about (legal reasons) but i'm sure you can find them ;) maybe at TM ;) or extract from your device.

I hope you contribute back :)

In recovery, when attempting to install the zip, error pops up stating the rom is for the eye, my devices reads as an m8.
im on the taiwanese 5.0.2, which i assume is the root of the issue, since the device is an att variant. my question is would i have to revert back to stock att and install cm zip in order for it to read as an eye?

Reading would help everyone.

Finally! Many thanks, mate. :good:

One question, though - when will the European version be available for download? :)
Please read the OP. It is there ;) - anyway no eta's will be provided in general ;)

Um, I clearly have put this on XDA. You must use my recovery (which is originally here. Revert back to stock then flash that recovery, I have clearly stated that eye_tuhl firmware is not supported YET.

There is a new build coming with fixes and eye_tuhl support coming in the next couple of days.

Unfortunately I have same problem as guy before. I installed european rom on internatoinal device (bought in europe) and have no simcard issue ("no signal" icon).
If you need any tests or any information from me, just tell me what to do.

I'm having SIM card issues as well.
I've flashed the provided recovery with WinDroid (over an existing TWRP), then flashed CM + GAPPS; everything is working fine apart from the SIM card.
And i tought i got bad firmware.

If you have ever flashed a modified stock rom or a rom from a different region than yours then you will not receive any support as it is a headache to deal with your crap. This includes random zip files floating around the internet.

after going to the euro software version, i get an error in installing stating, this package is for device htc_eyeul_att, eyeul; this device is m8.
This is really frustrating, I spend many many hours a weeek on CM (30+ hours) and then you don't read. So PLEASE PLEASE READ. I clearly said you need the correct twrp, this is not negotiable. you could brick if you don't read.

Anyway to the people who do read: I've been working to support all variants in 1 build:
http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/c/101454/
http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/c/101374/

The next build will support "eyeul", "eyetuhl" and "eyeatt" devices in just 1 zip. This is very frustrating as my testers is quite clueless.
