Excellent rom.Im very happy with the features .Memory leak is present and some Fc.But otherwise very snappy and performance oriented rom.Has the potential to be the best rom to be out there if you can clear out the bugs..

Btw is there a way to enable a status bar(Full screen) as in Half illusion ??

Excellent work .. Keep it up ! Using this Rom and will follow development closely !

Fixing bugs and adding features... and waiting for feedback. :good:
Blue line in dialer when accesing contacts is most anoying. I know it is a common bug of 240 dpi JellyBean, but fixing this would make me really happy;););)

Last thing is the memory leak (after some time, 8h or so, phone gets laggy and needs to be rebooted), but I guess that is much more complicated.

I've made a little app that will be included in next release (hopefully this weekend).

Most code is based in OTAUpdateCenter, so please donate to them for their great work.

Overview
ZipInstaller is a little app that makes it faster to pick up the zip you want to install via recovery. Instead of using the volume and power keys to select the different options inside the recovery, you can pick it up with your favorite file manager from the sdcard and choose wether you want to wipe cache and/or data, that's it.

Feel free to download source code and make your own mods as you want.

Warning
Just tested in a GT-N7000 with JellyBeer ROM (external sd card is in /sdcard and internal sd card is in /emmc)

First Version!!! Feedback is appreciated.

I have just tested the app on cm-10-20120927-UNOFFICIAL-StNickZA. I tried to reflash SuperSU with no wipes (none are needed) and it worked - SuperSU immediately started asking me should it grant permissions to the old apps.:)

Apropos the app: it promptly rebooted the phone when it flashed SuperSU for me. Is that what it always does? It would be nice
to have an option (or default behaviour) to stay in CWMR after the app has done the flash. All of us flashing CM/PA/AOKP have to flash
Gapps after the Rom flash is over.

If that doesn't require too much work, of course.:)

Well that is just what i asked to the otaupdater team and they told me it couldn't be done.

Since JellyBeer has AROMA (with gapps inside) i didn't think about it again.

Anyway i'll take a look.

Chas, answering to your request...

the only way to install a zip from inside the rom is telling the recovery the zip path via the --update_package command in /cache/recovery/command file.

when the recovery executes this file's commands, the main function always ends with a system reboot (or a shutdown, but this is not our case)

i can easily change the function to stay in recovery, but recovery resides inside the kernel, so this solution would only work with JellyBeer kernels, so i won't do it

the only way now to stay in recovery is to provoke a installation failure, for example, with an unsigned zip, the function will wait for user confirmation for untrusted zip installation and afterwards will stay in recovery

Version 1.3 of ZipInstaller released with support for more file managers (why on earth does every filemanager returns a different path?)
