[CM10] How to get the best battery life when standby!(tips and trick)

Introduction:
Shortly after upgrade my sl to JB(cm 10 alpha4) from DDLF2 whos have best battery backup, I had realized that the battery life was going to be a bad when standby. So after searching the XDA and a lot of, here are some screenshoot when stanby:

Tips & Tricks

Kernel

-Kernel V2 with signal fix and sync fix by LoCo : [TEST] CM10 alpha 4 kernel - signal fix
-cm9 a11 kernel by nicsptl (With OC patches :victory: )( recommended ) : [UPDATE][KERNEL][CM9/CM10][ICS/JB] ALPHA11 Kernel
-Siri Kernel by Adi ( RC2 has bug with video recording @480p but good to performance ) : [KERNEL][JB][2.6.35] SIRI KERNEL ||
-CrackerizerKernel by Crackerizer : [KERNEL-CM10A4] CrackerizerKernel - Final
Battery Driver

Optimized Samsung battery driver [CM]

To optimized Samsung Battery driver to get better battery (don't tested by me)
Tweaking build.prop

Try Build.prop from Topdroid: [MOD][JB/CM10][Build.prop] Performance Tweaks - Version 1.4.1 [11-12-12]

Deep Sleep Battery Saver

Try Deep Sleep Battery saver :
Google Play : Deep Sleep Battery Saver
XDA : [APP] [2.1+] Deep Sleep Battery Saver
-
Deepsleep battery saver constantly puts the device to deepsleep mode while screen off
Restict Background data

Go to Setting -> Data Usage -> (Press Menu button) -> Check the Restict Data Background and Uncheck Auto-sync Data
you must goto the app to get notif beacuse if you leave the apps, the apps can't access the network like whatsapp, line. If you Keep your Auto-sync on for Mails then I suggest you to Disable Auto-sync (from Power Widgets and from Data Usage setting. because there is not particular button in JB to turn off Auto-sync In settings> Accounts) and use apps from market for get mails and set particular interval to check inbox for app. )
Connection

Go to Setting -> More... -> Mobile Networks -> Check the Use Only 2G networks
If you chage only 2G networks it will save more battery
Turn Off Auto Backup & Restore

Go to Setting -> Backup & Reset -> Uncheck Backup my data
If you use that function please check again
Turn Off New Updates Check In Google Play

Unckeck all ticks from Play store setting that cause Play-store constantly check for new updates for apps and ads.
Set Processor

Go to Setting -> Performance -> Processor
set:
CPU governor: CONSERVATIVE
minimum CPU frequency: 300MHz
maximum CPU frequency: 1000MHz
check set on boot
Set Brightness

Go to Setting -> Display ->click Brightness uncheck automatic brightness set brightness to lower

Maintain Your Screen Brightness as per requirement.its main reason of battery drain while screen on.dont let it always at high percentage.
Set Sound To Mute

Go to Setting -> Sound -> Click Silent Mode -> check OFF

Mute can safe more battery life
Set Vibration Intensity

Go to Setting -> Advanced -> Vibration Intensity -> set to lower

Set vibration to lower can safe more battery life
Turn Off Windows Animation,Transition Animation,Animator Duration Scale

Go to Setting -> Developer Option -> (turn ON the switch)

Window Animation Scale : OFF
Transition Animation Scale : OFF
Animator Duration Scale : OFF

Hopefully these tips kept your SL going for longer than usual and if it did or you have any or tips about how to get battery life when standby going feel free to leave a comment below.:D please leave a feedback, and correct me if i wrong :D

You can add some of these extra things to OP

1)If you Keep your Auto-sync on for Mails then I suggest you to Disable Auto-sync (from Power Widgets and from Data Usage setting. because there is not particular button in JB to turn off Auto-sync In settings> Accounts) and use apps from market for get mails and set particular interval to check inbox for app.
2) Uncheck Backup Data from Setting>Backup & Restore If you dont use that function.
3) Unckeck all ticks from Play store setting that cause Play-store constantly check for new updates for apps and ads.
4) Set Clock speed of CPU using apps or from settings. Like "No-frills CPU'

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=it.sineo.android.noFrillsCPU&hl=en

and maintain it as per your requirement in differnet rom and differnet android version like GB,ICS,JB

In my case i use default setting of JB stock Kernel.
Min Frequency : 300 Mhz
Max Frequency : 1000 Mhz
Governer : conservative
I/O scheduler : cfq
5) Maintain Your Screen Brightness as per requirement.its main reason of battery drain while screen on.dont let it always at high percentage.
6)See your Battery Usage and freeze some apps like Google-maps which you are not using by apps like : Titanium Backup. which are main reason fro wakeclock.less wakeclock means less batterydrain during battery drain.

Will let you know more tips later. and by the way who is daktitor ?. I spouse both kernel belongs to loSconosciuto.

Hi!

4. Go to Setting -> Data Usage -> (Press Menu button) -> Check the Restict Data Background and Uncheck Auto-sync Data
Tried these. With "Restrict Data Background" checked, even Whatsapp does not give any notifications without opening the app. Any workaround to this. I have unchecked auto-sync.

Hi,
I am Using EHNDROIX II 12.12.4. A fully charged battery used to long for maximum of 9 hours. Luckily i happened to go through the above post and followed all the steps. Now my battery is 78% charged even after 20 hours. Attached is a screenshot of the utilization trend.

Thanks again.
Syed Jafar Sadiq.
