Don't feel bad, I was on a similar situation wondering what went wrong. I should have looked here before making the same mistake over and over.

ALL NIGHTLIES WILL BRICK YOUR PHONE AFTER THE 25 (just say in)

11/25 and 11/26 are bad, but once a new build is spit out it'll be fine. There wasn't a build on 11/27, so perhaps tomorrow. The issue was with a kernel change made by the maintainer for the i9000 which has since been reverted.

First time on cm10, I flashed the Nov 30 nightly and I'm using the stock kernel. This looks really promising and should be my dd for a while. It doesn't have quite the features aokp did but I'm still really liking it.

Don't know if this happened to anybody else, but I tried to upgrade using the cmupdater last night and it bricked my phone (although I was able to recover by odin-ing to EH03 and CWM4)... Anybody else get bricked?
Something was wrong with 1126, total boot loop. Was able to flash CWM through ODIN, then tried to install the 1124 nightly via CWM, which updated the recovery without installing the ROM. Tried again through the updated recovery and was back in action. 1129 crashed and resulted in a random reboot, 1130 seems to be running well thus far.

Hoping 4.2 drops soon, I know jt has a working build based on CM10.

Anybody know if you can apply CM10.1 and its corresponding gapps (from CM10) without a wipe data and cache?

Thanks!
Wouldn't recommend it. Did cache wipe and dalvik wipe after I made a nandroid backup and all went well. The move from 10 to 10.1 is a big change due to file structure changes in AOSP. You also need to flash the ROM and gapps through recovery, not through CM Updater. Once on 10.1 you can flash everything as usual.

EDIT: no need to wipe data, just wipe cache and dalvik.

I flashed cm10.1 and I'm trying to over clock to 1.2ghz through the performance settings but I seem to be getting sod issues and occasional lockups and reboots when ocing to 1.2ghz. I've tried both on demand and interactive governors with the same result. Cm10 also gave me this problem. Cm10.1 is rock solid stable though with no oc.

The Terminal Emulator app doesn't seem to be working with the 20130107 nightly build of CM10.1 for me. Does it work for anyone else? Otherwise everything else seems to work OK. I did have to clear the data and cache for a couple of the apps in order to get then to run, but it doesn't seem to work with Terminal Emulator...

Thanks!
