Who cares
I've built recovery's before, but not BSR style. I'm researching it now. I have a cwm image built, but have to figure out how to use it for BSR.

Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will beat me to it, but if not, I'm working on it.
Sounds like hashcode and dhacker are working on safe strap. Maybe you can help them with the port?

I hope the developer implements a menu key like in applications on the home screen. And I'm disappointed on the camera. CAN'T BELIEVE I'm ready to flash on my second day with the phone. :)

Yeah the camera is bad. If you aren't outside in plenty of light I feel like this camera has no chance of taking quality photos

Well I'm new to android as a whole so I was just getting overly anxious for CM10, I can definitely wait, but out of curiosity how long does it generally take for the first custom ROM(doesn't have to be CM)? Taking into consideration the devs seem to be on it.

You need a custom recovery before you have a custom ROM. We don't have one yet but I hear people are developing one right now soooo....yea be patient.

I really hope so because running CM10 on there would be awesome!

Hi,

Happy owner of an XT925, I don't know much about unofficial ROMs like CM.
Could someone explain in just a few words (lines!) what would be the major benefits of running CM10 on my device? (if anything stands apart from what is available on the official CyagenMod site). Battery saving? Smoothness? Other features?...

Thanks

Many things !
The ability to get vanilla android and all its features, some interesting tweaks, better battery life, longer support, better performance if sources are provided by the manufacturer.
Plus CM is THE reference for custom roms and the CM team rocks !

what is this phone really needs is a ROM like blackbean. It needs to be able to make the navbar smaller, add the menu button, have toggles!!! And the buttery smoothness of aosp jelly of course. No better ROM out right now period. Oh and use nova launcher

Waiting on a stable CM10 based Rom to drop for this phone, then I'll be purchasing the Dev edition. I miss Moto devices, and have been very disappointed in the reception with my SGS3. I've dropped more calls with this phone than all my other phones combined. Especially on AOSP ROMs
