I tried NK1 and had solid 3G but never connected to 4G at all. I also tried OB6 with similar results bit 3G was less stable.

I went back to CM13 and stayed on NK1 without issues.

One more thing I noticed is with all the modems, the signal seemed weaker than on CM13.

I asked over on the CM forum and seems we will have no help with this, since the ROM is in maintenance mode.

I read through the posts on this forum. Still a little lost. I am running CM13. This phone does not use data or cell service. Strictly to play podcasts via Bluetooth and some minor uses. I have the issue where Bluetooth cuts in and out. Wanting a simple stable ROM with Bluetooth service that doesn't cut out. I tried to install the Objective Rom due to the lack of anything on it for what I needed. No such luck. I was stuck at the Samsung Screen. Now would installing CM11 give me the same issue? Do I need to Odin an older version? Just curious on the steps to properly downgrade a ROM.

I'm on a rooted stock 4.4.4 ROM with NK1 radio. I agree that KK based roms are optimal for this device and want to try something new to fix stagefright and other vulnerabilities.

Is CM11 still a no go for LTE?
What about DU on NK1?

Never could get 4G tinwork right. DU does get 4G but I found. There were a lot of issues. For example, going from wifi to 4G would frequently cause an exclamation point on the cell signal and only several reboots would fix it.

The newest Temasek CM13 is pretty stable and with a few tweaks runs fast. It does have a higher battery drain though.

All CM11 based ROMS have the LTE problem. This includes DU, unfortunately.

You can just flash it as normal... all the issues are with LTE. Otherwise it is very stable. That said, I have not done much with Bluetooth, so YMMV
