Only CM11-based I guess. If you get RAM issues though, check my last comment on that post.

I question,
I have CWM recovery with cosmic ROM installed,
Can I flash TWRP over it to install cm 11 ?
Do I have to install stock first or can flash cm11 over that cosmic 2.5 ? Do I have to change baseband ?( Link if I have to do though Odin )
Finally which Rom you prefer for s duos in teams of smoothness and performance.
( I have a automatically restarting problem after root that something reduce by flashing "swapiness", thanks for that but can It be fixed by flashing cm 11 or stock ? )

THANKS, you gyus rellay awesome

Yes, use either Odin or Flashfire as you wish.

And for CM11, it depends. If you are already using the Hungarian baseband then no need to do anything else. If you don't then just flash this file before flashing CM11 (https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=601307472480698409). And for me, stock is smoother but CM11 is better in terms of pure performance. I think you should test it yourself though, since I'm pretty sure my S Duos is defective. It's super slow compared to other Snapdragon S1-equipped devices.

Also check out Pac-ROM (https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-ace/ace-2-help/rom-pac-rom-kk-rc-3-t3562108) if you want more customization. And don't thank me, thank the devs ^.^

Unless you overclock or use an unstable ROMs (is there any around to be honest?) then I honestly don't know. Sorry. If you are using CM11-based though, check my comment on that CM11 reboot fix thread.

And you can flash that baseband file using TWRP. No Odin required. I myself prefer stock or Pac-ROM though, but I think it's better if you test eveything yourself and make your own judgement.

I'm try to upgrade an old GT S7562 dual but I have only a MacBook running OS High Sierra.
I try to follow tutorials, but all link bring to page full of scam software.
Is there anyone that can help me / guide me on how to update the Samsung Galaxy S Duo GT S7562 to a newer Android OS?

Any help is appreciated.

Use heimdall to flash the TWRP and use the recovery to flash the Rom....

Or use adb or dd to flash the recovery via cli (terminal on Mac)...

Hi all,

It was a long time ago, when I made my S7562 KitKat ROM public.
It's a pleasure to see how much time you've downloaded the ROM. :)

If you like reading news, I would like to recommend a new way for you, my first public Android program, called NewsFeed Launcher.
It's idea based on the BlinkFeed, but their program can be used just on HTC devices (in the offical way), and you can only read from just a few bigger site.
My goal was to make a universal program what can connect to any RSS based website. Later I added Twitter and Youtube support too.
It's not based on the AOSP Launcher, I made everything in my own way, so it lacks some good features what others have, but I think it can be useful in this state too.

Newsfeed Launcher

    Samsung GT-S7562 CyanogenMod 11.0 Android 4.4.4

    Unofficial Release

I proudly present my first Android related work.
The GT-S7560M has a similar hardware except the dual-SIM RIL, so the kylessopen firmware (thanks to jonypx09 and others) was a good initial source.
I reverse engineered the stock Java Radio Interface Layer, and based on that informations, I restructured the kylessopen’s sources.
Finally with my custom telephony-common, telephony-msim java layer, and with the stock rild, and libril*.so binaries, the GSM connection works.

Important: This is an unofficial release. If you find a bug, please send a feedback in this thread.
If you have a problem with the installation, write it down in the Q&A thread.

(you can do this, if you installed my linked package or earlier):
      1. Settings-->Security-->Device Administrators-->Uncheck "Android Device Manager"

    Hi all,

I bought a One M7 a few weeks ago to replace this slow hardware, and I sold the GT-S7562 on last Friday.
So I won't release any future updates for this ROM.
Thank you for the feedbacks and the lot of thanks.

    Have a nice day,
