Confirmed

I flashed twrp and then cm11 on Baseband S7562DDBMJ1 - S7562XXBMJ1, then i flashed the Baseband Modem_S7562XXLJ3.zip(9mb) and the RIL is working fine. Using Dolphin browser (no more black background), Mx player for playback of videos and a video recording app. Only thing bluetooth doesn't work. Apart from all that having a great expeirence. Great Job to the developer.:good::good:

Would be very grateful if the developer could make an sdcard swap script for cm11 4.4.4 as the internal memory on s7562 is quite low.

Thanks and hoping for it to be more polished. ;):D

Samsung GT-S7562 CyanogenMod Kitkat
Unoffical Release

I’m proudly present my first Android releated work.
The GT-S7560M has a similar hardware except the dual-SIM RIL, so the kylessopen firmware (thanks to jonypx09) was a good initial source.
I reverse engineered the stock Java Radio Interface Layer, and based on that informations, I restructured the kylessopen’s sources.
Finally with my custom telephony-common, telephony-msim java layer, and with the stock rild, and libril*.so binaries, the GSM connection works.

Important: This is an initial release. If you found a bug, please send a feedback.

Non working functions:
  • Bluetooth,
  • Video Encoding (I deleted libOmxVidEnc.so to prevent Viber to freeze the phone),
  • Video Camera
Requirements:
  • TWRP 2.7 Recovery (With CWM it not works!)
  • If RIL not works, flash stock hungarian firmware, before you install the ROM.
Install method:
  • 1. Reboot to download mode and flash stock hun firmware with Odin.
  • 2. Reboot to download mode and flash TWRP with Odin.
  • 3. Reboot to recovery mode and install RC1 and update packages with TWRP.
Download links:
ROM: http://uploaded.net/file/pionx3a0 mirror: cm-11-20150205-UNOFFICIAL-kylessopen-RC1.zip
Stock Hun Firmware: http://samsung-updates.com/details/20971/Galaxy_S_Duos/GT-S7562/XEH/S7562XXALJ4.html
TWRP (Odin package) recovery.tar.md5
Baseband: Modem_S7562XXLJ3.zip (You can flash it with TWRP)
TWRP (change from CWM): http://uploaded.net/file/uzyhnbx3 mirror: recovery.zip
Recommended gapps: pa_gapps-modular-pico-4.4.4-20150117-signed.zip

Update (flash with TWRP):
browser_fix.zip
signal_strength_fix.zip
torch_fix.zip

Tipp:
The "OneL+ Lollipop" theme with "IdeaL Theme Dark"'s icons is beautiful.

Future:
Few bugfixes, including Youtube 480p playing.
Hey you did a really great work!!!!!!
I liked, loved, lived and enjoyed your work:silly:,
:good::good:
What I want you to give your attention is, I want to have a task manager if you can add.
rest is awesome.....!!:good::good::good:

Thanks for reviving our s duos:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:

@m4jonez, at first GREAT job :)!

Can someone provide more detailed instruction how to install, including in which moment there is needed to wipe data etc.?

I have a problem to install.
1. I've installed Hungarian firmware using ODIN.
2. I've installed CWM using ODIN.
3. I've go to Recovery and installed TWRP (from zip).
4. I've go to Recovery (now it's TWRP). I've wipe data and dalvik, then install CM11, then patches (browser, signal, torch), then gapps, then power off.
5. After that, while normal power on, device freeze at Samsung logo for about 15 seconds, and after that it restarts, and go automatically into Recovery, so I cannot go directly into normal boot.

PS: There is already new version of gapps:

Transparent status bar can be enabled in settings. You will find it. This may slightly affect performance. As you know the source is based on the cm11 s7560 source by jonypx09. And of course it has the same not working things. There are plenty of guides and good documentation about cm11 to be found when searching on Google.

I've got same problem, that's why I was tried to flash CWM by ODIN, and then using CWM, flash TWRP, using ZIP package, but at the end (after install CM11, gapps etc.), I've got same device stuck on Samsung bootlogo:

There is also performance menu in settings when developer options are enabled. You have to tap on the build number 10 times to enable it.

I open the data and looks like works well but after 5-10 mins the data connection was lost and must turn off and reopen the data to have internet access again. Tested settings: Sim1 3G - Sim2 2G - Data Sim1 and Sim1 2G-Sim2 3G-Data Sim2

The camerafix fixes the video record but still takes photos at 3 megapixel.

Something more, must do something with the adds of some apps. At other roms for our phone I never have pop ups with adds at the apps i use. Is there something we can do for this?
