These are the steps that worked for me, both cm-12.0-YNG1TAS0YL-bacon-signed and cm-12.0-YNG1TAS17L-bacon-signed work, but both give camera fcs.
1. flash cm12s rom, boot to desktop
2. reboot to recovery flash rootfs (takes about 15 mins)
3. flash nethunter kernel
4. wipe dalvik and cache
5. reboot
I used team win recovery.
I would say the boot process takes 3-5 minutes on first boot.
Will it work for nightly builds? I am running CM 12.1 nightly. Thank you.

I tried with a CM 12.1 nightly and it didn't boot for me, was hoping OP could recommend a nightly to use. It only worked with cm12s on my end.
True. My phone is using the latest nightly. Should I go back to CM12s or wait? And where do you think I can get hold of CM12s.zip that can be flashed through TWRM Recovery. Thank you for the replies.

Yeah we all know that if you read the thread...12.1 bootloop and 12s camera doesen't work.
My apologizes, I havnt read about the bootloop. My issue with the nightly build is the CM logo just keeps loading.

Kali Nethunter for OPO lollipop

I am trying to update my encrypted OPO to CM12s. I have the latest TWRP, SuperSU and 05Q. I tried flashing CM12 YNG1TASOYL-signed-bacon.zip and fastbooting the CM11S 05Q files (.mbn, .img .bin) Both methods ended with a bootloop of the TWRP logo. Before I start again, I want to be sure that this method will work with an encrypted phone.
Now have working CM12s on my OPO using YNG!TAS17L-signed-bacon.cip with TWRP and SuperSU. Are there MD5 or SHA1 hashes for rootfs and kali_nethunster? TWRP 2.8.6 can't decrypt the internal storage. I can use adb sideload to load and install zips. Is this OK for rootfs.zip and kali_nethunster_kernel...zip?

cm 12.1 problems

Try use it on the stabled official COS 12 there I assure its working fine because I using it on my Oneplus.

There is problem with the latest cm12.1 nightlys, one nightly I assure it worked was 6/04/15. I will try to catchup on to latest nightly and fix the fc and reboots .

Thanks for the feedback :good:

Stuck on splash screen

Hey Everyone,

So I followed the recommended steps; however, now my phone comes up with the initial power on oneplus one splash screen and just stays there. I have waited close to 10 minutes for it and nothing. Here are the steps I ran:

1) download the cm12s kernel & the rootfs files [done, also verified the MD5s)
2) reboot to recovery [done]
3) flash the rootfs zip first (should take 30 minutes) [done, took ~15mins]
4) flash the cm12s kernel second [done, took less than 1 min]
5) wipe Dalvik & Chache [done]
6) reboot and wait [done]

Result: stuck on the power on splash screen....

Currently running:
CM 11.0

Any suggestions?
