CM13/14/14.1/AOSP N firmware for KENZO/KATE [VoLTE][12.04.2017]

When I want to update CM 14.1 on my Kate.
Must I flash the firmware after/before every update or can i just update with the cm updater without flashing anything? Or will i lose Band20 when i dont flash the firmware after an update?

Let say that u dont wipe ur internal then u don't have to flash it everytime u update ur ROM, but if u do a clean flash then u have to flash it every single update.

In short, if u update ur ROM just wipe cache and dalvik, don't need to flash this FW every time.

Can I use dual sim with this FW. The CM13 FW I flashed before this caused the 2nd sim to not be detected.

got 12.1 firmware from emiui, volte didn't worked. is there any difference in this, repacked non hlos or something, if yes then will try again.

I don't have Kate. But I don't think it will work as it's for kenzo.
What you can try is search and download miui 6.11.15 or lower for Kate. And get firmware from it.
