CM13/14/14.1/AOSP N firmware for KENZO/KATE [VoLTE][12.04.2017]

Hello fellow members,

I try to understand more thoroughly the firmwares for ou devices, and I have some questions :

Can someone explain the differences between the CM13 and CM14.1 firmwares ?

I have a Kate, can I simply extract the files from official MIUI firmware and replace them from a CM13/14.1 firmware zip ?
Should I use only the files from a version of MIUI ROM, or can I mix them ? (e.g: use a newer radio but keep an alder trust zone file)?

Also, can someone explain the purpose for each files inside the zip ?

Why not bundling emmc_appsboot.mbn in the firmware from OP, TWRP ZCX (and others) do remove the lock automatically, isn't it ?

It should work now, but i can't test It becouse my provider has no VoLTE. Try and tell me!

Can I just flash the zip file using the twrp? This firmware fits or I'd have to install another one?

For any fixes/improvements they may have made to the firmware. Sure.

You may not need to flash it. Give it a try first. But yes, you can flash with TWRP.

Yes you can as It doesn't touch system data or cache. Only other partitions which arr doesn't change with ROM's.

Try the older CM fw for kate. Everythings working great here(with that fw i mentioned) on my Kate running latest RR by MOVZX

Have flashed this firmware with lineage OS 25012017 nightly, with Pixel UI V4,
Network strength is improved, auto focus working, battery percentage working fine. Volte is working, but no video call is yet supported.

1.Aquire permission to unlock bootlaoder
2.Root and flash twrp.
3.Flash Lineage os and after that flash the firmware for KATE?

You dont need to flash any firmware if you have unlocked bootloader and updated to latest official global developer rom.

On latest Kenzo release Fingerprint seems to be binded as "Enter key" on text fields (like Whatsapp/Facebook Messenger)
Is there any way to disable it?
