Thought I would add to this thread.

I'm using CM10.2 on optus in australia. I was looking at various modems and tried a few but found the official dtjg3 was dire! Poor battery life, poor signal just poor everything! I eventually got to jw1 and its great. Execellent signal, 3g and battery life.

So for those in australia giv JW1 a whirl!

Modems in Perka stash is for Gingerbread. If you have any modem zip for ICS/JB/KK just replace modem.bin with modem.bin from Perka zip.

What are the Best Jellybeans/ Kitkat modems for the GSM bands (900/1800/1900MHz) and 3G bands (900 / 1900 / 2100MHz)?.......... Doesn't matter the country or network, I already know the band frequencies the network use.

    My phone's keyboard doesn't have a Ctrl key, can you tell me how to fix that...

    You can easily remove the CTRL button from a keyboard and plug it in via USB.
