[CM7] Getting Google Music Cloud Sync to work with Honeycomb Music.apk

On Android 2.3.3, the Google Music cloud sync promised at last year's I/O looks like its online.

I've been at it all day trying to get it working. From what I can tell, the evo, milestone2 and captivate have been able to get it working.

If you've gotten it working, please do explain how you did. I've tried installing this app in /system/app and on /data and get so far as to where it appears like it is syncing but never does. I've been digging around and I don't think anyone has gotten this working on NC.

where does it sync to?

I have it set up to my account but where is my music cloud on Google so I can upload my jams...

No one really knows where its going to.

I just tried re-installing it to do a fresh start and no longer have 'Sync Music' in Accounts&Sync, Google might have pulled the plug

Are you able to sync up and stream still? As in, you could delete your music off your sd card and stream from the server (wherever it might be)?

but on a positive note, that other thread led me to audiogalaxy which is AWESOME

subsonic is another great solution for music streaming anywhere. gotta support the mom-and-pop devs

Anyone have progress on this? I've got it to work on my Droid X but my music app FCs every time I try and open it.
