My Atrix is in bootloop after trying to flash CM7 stable. I can get into recovery fine. I think i MAY have done the wrong thing installing, but not sure...have done LOTS of flashing before with my DEFY and XT701.

I firstly used a recovery which was not the ROM Manager one. Secondly I didn't use the zip from internal storage as per the instructions. I did it from External.

I can still get into recovery but the phone bootloops after "unlocked" leaves the screen.

Will I have to flash my SBF? [Hopefully not!!]

it has been discussed many times and a search might do it for you buuuuuttt


weekly: compiled "once a month" form the Atrix Dev Teams source, kept up to date by them

nightly: compiled from the Cyanogen source kept up to date by them

both are pretty similar, id stick to weeklies for the fingerprint support

Ok, I am a "noob", but only to Droid and Linux Os's. Not really sure where to post this so sorry if im in the wrong place. But I am realy desperate I tried google and Yahoo ect.

I have the Atrix 4g MB860 on AT&T. dont know much else about it. I need to cut Internet\phone package to save money so a friend "rooted" my phone. However the "unknown sources" check box was not available in my settings menu(Not greyed out, just not there at all). So I was unable to install the tethering app. My friend told me to update the phone, and it should allow the option to check off that box to allow the installation of unknown sources.

I had to charge the phone to do the update and I mistakenly used my Kodak camera charger instead of the correct charger, and when I checked the phone alittle while later it was at the error "Failed to Boot 2. starting RSD mode". When I pull the battery and re-boot the phone it boots to the point where I can see my backround pic, and I can here\see texts and emails coming in but after about a minute or if I try to unlock it it re-boots and shows the failed to boot 2 error.

I know I likely will have to hard reset the phone I hang on to the hope that I may be able to get the 200+ pics and 30+ videos of my 1 year old. I am quite desperate and need a step by step if possible. I know I am a true DUMB*%#@&! Because I did not do a backup

No worries man, just reflash the rom(or get your friend to)..it will not erase your pictures or your videos

umm??? forgot to wipe? may be u can try with latest CWM from Rom Manager again. It never failed for me.

Just remember to wipe cache after each installation. if wiping cache is not enough (still bootlooping) u can try wiping data/ factory reset as well.

I read in a previous post, perhaps page 4, of a user who had a similar problem to me. What happens is when I'm in a call and then that call ends there's about a 20% chance that the screen will remain black no matter what I do unless I either remove the battery or send it a notification from another phone. Is there any permanent way to fix this? Perhaps somewhere in the settings? Thank you in advance for any replies I may receive!

hey guys im a noob with the atrix because i just got it and after unlocking and everything i flashed this rom and im having one weird problem

im using GOSMS ok and when i go to delete a thread it deletes all the messages in the thread but not leaves the thread with a no subject line and nothing inside and it wont let me delete it

i then went into the actual messaging app and i tried deleting it in there but to no avail is there any solution?

All Cyanogen Rom/kernels have been giving me intermittent wifi and mobile connection, I do not have the same issue with GB roms like ginger mod, any ideas?

Flash not working in CM7 mod2

Flash does not play at all with user agent as android nor linux desktop. I'm using CM7 ics mod2 and its great all around, but the change log states that flash player 11.1 is integrated and it is installed but does not work with either user agent. I even tried dolphin browser with different user agents and still no flash.

Any ideas?, I suppose its not such a big deal not having a working flash player on my browser, but with such a great ROM its a shame that I can't watch any flash video online....

Is it possible to replace the bluetooth app in CM with the stock bluetooth?

CM bluetooth doesn't stream properly in my car. Constantly drops out, constantly have to disconnect/reconnect my phone. Calls seem ok, but streaming audio is not.

Works fine in CherryPi rom, connects automatically. starts playing when I enter, stops when I get out.

What kind of bluetooth issues are you having specifically? I have noted that on rare occasions when i walk out of the range of my headset that it can sometimes have trouble pairing back up without turning bluetooth off and power cycling the headset. Also rarely the headset control to end a call does not work, so i have to watch the things i say after i think ive hung up

Also I have noticed without rhyme or reason that WiFi will shut itself off. Not sure what causes this as I haven't isolated the issue. Are there others experiencing similar behavior?

I can't pair my jawbone icon bluetooth headset to my Atrix. I'm using Atrix CM Ba2tF stable version and it can't find my bluetooth headset. Everything else works great.

Anyone else having this type pf problem?

I think I might have a bug in the latest weekly. After booting phone (when time comes to unlock), it is making me wait 20-25 seconds to unlock. It's like I entered the wrong password too many times, but I haven't entered it once! This started on weekly 5 and now continues on 6. Just about to try a reset. Wiped caches multiple times and have re-flashed too.

no such issue here , try a wipe , maybe resseting your stored fingers as well

Other than a reset, I have wiped many times. FP scanner has nothing to do with the problem. I have the same issue when I have it set to unlock with a pin as well. For the record, I did reset the pin and the my fingerprints as well.

Gave in and did a factory reset. Solved everything. Even fixed a wifi issue I was having too !! Guess sometimes you have to just spend the time and deal with it.

Atrix 4G LCD screen

I am looking for a compatible LCD screen with Atrix MB860
Does anyone know of a phone that has the same size and same type of connection? It can be shorter or longer cable but want to have same type of connection so I don't have to do any work on the MB.
This is for my water damaged Atrix that powers on but no display! Sound and touch digitizer works fine. I just want to do some experiment to explore hardware. My problem may also be only a connection problem with the MB because I noticed a dark substance at one corner of LCD and MB connector.

You need to install the Atrix drivers on your computer
