CM9 problem with camera

Hello,

I flashed CM9 Kang ROM + gapps v10.
But, my camera is not still working. On dev. thread, they are talking about camera fix 1.1.2 which should fix the problem.
Where can I download it?
Also, are there any other fixes I should install? Thank you.

I never ran the Kand so i cant help u with that, but on the multidevice collaboration it works just fine.

Is cm9 currently stable for the atrix and can it hard brick your phone?

You need to install the Atrix drivers on your computer

Its not stable yet, but then again neither is CM7. CM9 still in its Alpha stages which means u will have things that wont work properly and some force closes and a few battery pulls (for example i had to do a battery pull every time i played '?' tile in Words with Friends cuz the phone froze). I just went to and from CM9 (from and back to CM7) so i can assure u that if u know what ur doing u wont have to worry about a brick (in fact i could be wrong, but i doubt u can brick by flashing a ROM). Make sure u do a backup before u flash CM9...good luck.

Hello guys, this has been bugging me for a while. Can I charge my phone overnight?

I mean I plug it at 15% at 7pm then download SD cache via wifi and then sleep. I'll take it the next day at 7am.

Is it bad to do this?

I plug my phone every night no matter teh battery level, always on Wifi, and sometime downloading data for games.

I never had any issue so far...

Bluetooth headset problem : CM 7.2.0 RC1

Dear colleagues, thanks for the excellent job and advices you are doing day by day.

I have an Atrix MB860, rooted, Mod is "Cyanogenmod 7.2.0 RC1-olympus", Android 2.3.7, Kernel 2.6.32.57-mb860-cm7, baseband N_01.77.37P. The problem that I have, is that when I receive an email or SMS notification sound, it sounds on the phone speaker but not in the Bluetooth headset. I tested CyanogenMod9 and this feature is working fine (CM9) but not in CyanogenMod7.
I Have spent loooong hours looking for a solution but cannot find it. The bluetooth headset works ok to listen music.

How can I activate the bluetooth headset notifications for email and SMS ?So I can hear the notification sounds in the BT Headset? Do I need to change the kernel ? Any suggestion ?

it started with a wifi problem i end up bricking it

i had a wifi problem everytime i tried connecting my wifi it showed error this started with the cm7 rc ....i thought it was a rom problem so i flashed neutrino same problem continued ....i flash darkside rom n the same thing wifi error ...i though i was a sd card problem since i bought a new one n i was using it .,.........................k well i was flashing back to neutrino gt because i like the rom to try n rename the file as i was flashing neutrino from scratch with sync add on n other add ons also n changed the kernel to 1ghz cm7 stock one ...n the radio to the 37p one ....the last thing i did i upgraded the cwm to the touch screen one... now my phone just turns on to the boot animation screen n turns off doess this all time unless i take off the battery............when i try to sync to the cpu it says tho make sure the drivers r installed i am using a new mc sd card i just transfer my pics n music from my old to the new i think thats what messed the cwm which doesnt load up when i try doing it by the phone it self ....any suggestions n i cant post on the rom threads cuz i have to have 10 post... .....

You probably figured this out by now, but there is a setting within cyanogenmod menu that allows you to change this behavior.

CM7 Update

I flashed a beta build of CM7 a while ago, if I put the stable build on my phone (in the shop right now getting a new screen) is it as easy as

1. Put stable build on memory card
2. Install
3. Done?

Running the RC1 for a few days now... I've noticed the following--

1) Occasional random reboots.
2) Can't add a Yahoo account via Accounts & Sync -- it looks like its going to work, yet the account never appears.
3) Yahoo Mail app doesn't always report new messages.

Overall, it's pretty darn great!!

you should install the last joker's rom (0.4.5.1) to get camera working..

I have CM7 Neutrino installed on my atrix.
And the camera add on was installed as well. (this apparently makes the camera not as good?)

So I was wondering if it is possible to uninstall this add on? And if I do, will the default camera that notorious originally put on come up?

I have installed CM7 7.2.0 RC1 with gapps and 9-4 nightly and photo/video cam work perfectly. Nightly before last had issues.

Sorting through the options...

As a beginner, how do I sort through the CM7 options? I have a (sort-of) decent idea of what I want but there are too many options. Actually, there may not even be very many options but it sure feels that way when I don't know anything about it.
I'm all, "Whoaaaa, Windows? Mac? Linux?? But what about Microsoft?? How come nobody's talkin' about Apple???"
That's an impression of my mother shopping for a new computer. *bow

I'm getting lost when I'm trying to find a build and I realize how many builds there are. I mean, I can't just look at a chart and pick what's right, you know? (I'd love to but a chart doesn't exist, as far as I know...) In addition to that, and I mean no offence, but it looks like they're just being built by one guy per build...I don't understand that. How is one dude able to pull off a killer project and why wouldn't they all just join forces and do something amazing? "With our powers combined," or whatever.

I have a question that I'm still trying to get answered:

I'm trying to install the cm7 mod, but I have yet to unlock my bootloader. I'm currently running 2.3.6( 4.5.141) on my ATT Atrix and have not been able to find any clear instructions on how to do that. I tried using this:

but it only goes up to the previous version. I've heard reports that it works, but I don't want to take any chances since I don't know what I'm doing really since this is my first time.
